Was watching the Tulsa/Navy game last night and the announcers said that if UC and SMU Are both undefeated come 20 Nov, ESPN College Gameday should be there.

Other prominent games that weekend:

- Arkansas at Alabama
- Iowa State at OU
- MSU at OSU

Any chance?

I think the announcers are correct. Both being undefeated though isn't a given--SMU and Houston are even according to the betting experts as of yesterday and I kind of expect the Cougars to upset SMU and join the top 25 this week.
SMU has to go to Memphis next week too which won’t be easy.

Smu has the hardest conference schedule in the aac by a mile.

@Houston
@Memphis
UCF
@Cincinnati

As tough if a 4 game stretch as you’ll find in this conference. Especially if Gabriel and UCF were healthy.
If they want to go to one of the same old places, the go to Alabama or Okie land.

If they want a place they've never been before and would love to have them, then go to UC.

But stupid SMU will probably lose today to Houston anyway.

They did.

Smu still has Memphis and UCF. Who knows maybe they win and sneak back in at like 24/25 by the time our game comes around
Had actually been looking ahead to games and thought that was most likely outcome. Still definitely possible even with SMU loss.
aTm/auburn looks like the only ranked option this week. So I'm guessing that or an FCS game unless we get into top 4 and they want to come to UC as a feel good story thing
I think as long as UC remains undefeated (and as a result, ranked #2) you can circle the SMU game on the calendar for Game Day. SMU may still be ranked at that time as the losses are really mounting for #10 to #25 teams at this point in the war of attrition. If not, the feel good story of college football 2021 is set in the Queen City and the nation is noticing.
How about this week?

You see, this is why we needed to get the he** out of the AAC.

Aint no way gameday is coming to a game where Tulsa is playing.
Thing is ESPN chases stories. We're #2 in the country and the playoff rankings come out this week. They went to North Dakota State; was that for a high profile opponent? Don't know what else is out there but I'm sure ESPN wants to come here as long as we're undefeated.

If I remember correctly, they were playing South Dakota. Both were in the top 10 in whatever division they play in.

Regardless, they aren't coming for a Tulsa game.
I'm hearing from one source this week.
Gameday officially coming to Clifton on Saturday.
This might actually help our ranking on Tuesday lol

It might actually, in that the committee doesn’t want to be dragged for 3 hours by the Gameday crew from our campus for leaving us out of the Top 4.
