Charlotte was nowhere near the bottom last year and will likely be even better next year. These rankings are a joke. You might want to look at what Charlotte needed and what they got, paying particular attention to transfers which aren't included in these rankings.
Transfers can be important, but the facts are Charlotte was ranked 14, 11, 11, and 10 in the past 4 years.
You mean during our FIRST 4 YEARS of existence?
Fair enough. I have no problems with Charlotte I just think we should all be out recruiting the Sunbelt.
Perhaps, but the four graduate transfers we got will all be starting in places we were weak last season.
Three stars are nice, but they didn’t get you to a bowl games last season and an average kicker would have.
An average kicker would’ve gotten us at least 3 additional wins last year.

Obsess much? Why are you even over here other than to just be a jerk? Go back to your board and continue obsessing with your 50 page thread all about what CUSA is doing.
Wow. It was a legitimate complement. 10 of your schools are in the top 100. Sunbelt only had 4 in the top 100. Bottom 30 (23% of the 130 FBS playing schools) is not a place you want to be and a majority of your programs stayed out of that bottom quarter.

RE: Football recruiting
per rivals FAU had more than 25 signs which is impossible with new rules. Marshall is at competitive advantage being able to take NQ, then if they transfer they have to sit out. That is the reason for MU having over 25, since some will be NQ, I don't think FAU can take NQ so I think their # is inflated. The new rule is 25 new S'ships in a given year which includes transfers, so if FAU only signed 25 they could not take a transfer.
Either way MU and FAU had nice classes but due to their size can't be compared to other non-inflated classes.

It's not impossible you can take the early signees and apply them to the year before in which FAU only took 19.
You can also take from the future year. It's basically tricky accounting of scholarships to fall within the rules.

Yes there are BlueShirts and GreyShirts. Which should not be used in comparing classes. A Greyshirt waits to enroll till next January, then they count against next years 25, so they should not used to compare to players who will enroll this year.

Yes, without seriously improving the kicking situation, we are badly outmatched at special teams.
Personally, I think our punter may be developing ok, but the two kickers we had on our roster last season were garbage.
