Coordinated Purge: Infowars Simultaneously Banned From Youtube, Apple, & Facebook
For nothing, other than vague claims of "hate speech".
Quote:THE REAL REASON APPLE, FACEBOOK, SPOTIFY & YOUTUBE BANNED INFOWARS
This is what election meddling looks like
Paul Joseph Watson | Infowars.com - AUGUST 6, 2018
Apple, Spotify, Facebook and YouTube all banned Infowars within 12 hours of each other, illustrating how last night’s purge was a coordinated effort and has nothing to do with these platforms enforcing “hate speech” rules.
Here are the real reasons Infowars is being purged by Big Tech;
– Infowars is widely credited with having played a key role in electing Donald Trump. By banning Infowars, big tech is engaging in election meddling just three months before crucial mid-terms.
– With the Infowars ban, Apple, Facebook , Spotify & YouTube (Google) have all now ascribed themselves the power to remove people & outlets from their platforms based on their political opinions. This power will be abused time and time again to meddle in elections.
– The ban also sets the precedent that the mere charge alone of having committed “hate speech,” with no specific examples even provided, is enough to memory hole an individual or group’s digital presence.
– The ban is just part of a wider censorship purge that also use stealth censorship, shadow banning and algorithmic manipulation to hide and bury conservative content.
About the only thing InfoWars did to contribute to the election was going to Hillary's MUH FIELD OFFICES and showing that they were empty, and that on days where the field offices were recruiting new canvassers, NOBODY SHOWED UP.

Private companies are not forced to host content that violates their guidelines.
CSNbbs has posting guidelines. The SpinRoom has posting guidelines. Sounds like a straw broke the camel's back and when one media entity started the removal, calls for the rest to follow suit came in.

He had been on Youtube since the beginning, over 13 years. 2.5 million subscribers. Gold-level, verified, partner creator. Why all of a sudden?
What's more likely -- that he just recently crossed some arbitrary line, or these tech firms are cracking down on right-of-center speech in attempt to meddle in the upcoming elections?
That's the sick thing, you brainwashed leftists will support this because you see it as a "win".

It's most likely about the Sandy Hook family. And when you just make **** up, you have to face the consequences. Sorry Al. You made this bed.

Forbes had to retract and disavow a fake story they ran on Jones last week, claiming he assaulted a child.
Are we certain that the tech companies aren't relying on fake information?
Quote:Update: The original version of this story named Alex Jones as the man pushing a child to the ground in the banned video clip. In fact, Jones merely comments enthusiastically.

The sandy hook families claimed he sent people to their houses to harass them. He never did any such thing.
What happens if/when he WINS those lawsuits? Many of them have already been dismissed, very hard to prove defamation.
Irrelevant to my point really. You're not denying that he just made this **** up about them being complicit in a fabricated massacre, are you?

Show me a clip, and explain what law he broke and/or how he violated the TOS. I find it odd that speech that had been on Youtube for the past 6+ years is suddenly worthy of a permanent ban. This was calculated and political.
You don't care, though, because it's a "win" for your "team".
On the contrary, if the Young Turks were banned tomorrow for "hate speech", I'd have the exact same opinion about them as I do about Infowars.

Very true and they are all within their rights to disallow any content they wish. If they want to clean house I'm all for it as long as the list the reasons why with clear examples and apply that to all users 100% of the time.
