Thanks!! If I wasn’t voting for my own I vote Ark St. by far has the best logo, and therefore has the best helmet. Troy would be my second pick, but the problem with TxSt. and GSU and App is that the logo is the same color as the helmets. It blends in to much with the helmet.

TXSTs was way better when it was gold and not maroon. Thanks Fran for making us looking Aggie.

This poll-maker is pretty cool, even gives you the geographical make up of the voters.

I just looked at that too. According to the heat map, a majority of the votes are coming from NYC. Who here lives in NYC?

That's where the Russians are working from.

It's probably showing you where the last hop from the provider is coming from. In my case, from here at work, we use Level 3 and will hop from Dallas.

I do like the App Block A in black (homer) with ArkState and Troy a close second. The alternate UL is killer too.

Not sure if slapping a block A on a helmet is the height of creativity either.
I like Troys' sword T. GSU panther head looks good too.
Louisiana's FDL is the BEST, however.
Fun poll! Thx

If it was just the traditional FDL on the helmets it would look even better. For the second picture put the double red strips on the top and make the face mask white and you are golden.

When you do the alternate helmet poll, it's going to be hard to beat those Troy Chrome Domes...

Are the New Orleans Saints cool with this? I do like the FDL design better than Ragin Cajun

I really think this is the reason why the University in the past has shy away from the FDL. We need to embrace it and make it our primary logo.

Difference: we don't pay for those things. They just exist, and if it works, it works.

I gotta give GS one thing, when it comes to tradition I think GS has us all beat. Say what you want, but it works and has been working for over 40 yrs. Think Sunbelt schools need to take a look at GS when it comes to switching up uniforms, and going with the policy if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Since we've been using it since the university was created in 1898 I don't think the Saints have any arguments. :-)

To be fair, we do one alternate look a year either on the home opener or homecoming and when recruits come to town, we usually let them take pics in the alternates from the season before. Other than that, we wear the classic blue and whites. I like to think of it as our brand.

Let me recommend going solo. No need to offend the goat population. Mountains are easy to navigate.

My non-homer pick for favorite (of the helmets given on the poll) is App State.
There are two equally terrible helmets in this list, but I'll be nice and not name offending schools.
