I just find it so odd that the government is going to give people more of their hard earned money and the liberals are so stupid they think its a bad thing.
If money is all you care about then it isn't a bad thing right now.
But that's all republicans care about right?
Now this is the bread and butter of the democrats. Class warfare. All this identity stuff ain't working, go back to what you're good at.

If the shoe fits wear it.
Lemme know however how that goes when their next order of business is to cut Social Security and Medicare.

No, they just feel that perhaps letting people keep their money and letting them determine how to use it is more in line with the principles our country was founded on than the democrat thought that people should give the government their money and let them determine the best way to use it. It's unfortunate that those who support democrats can't quite grasp economic concepts.

I would be 100% for it if I really thought that was going to happen but you and I know darn well that isn't going to happen.
Sure, we might see a few more bucks in our pockets up front but we are going to see a loss of entitlements on the back end when they vote to cut medicare and social security.

I'd rather have the money up front to invest as I see fit rather than have it forcibly stolen from my check with no assurances I'll ever see a penny.

Have any of you moonbats thought about investing the extra money you'll be getting and applying that to your retirement?? I mean good grief, we've had 70 record closes since Trump was elected (even though all of the liberal elites said the market would crash). Get in while the getting is good. Dumba$$es

But once again this isn't about me. This is the main difference in my opinion between progressives and conservatives. Where as progressives think about how this is going to effect the country, especially the poorest among us, conservatives only care about how it's going to effect them.
Time and time again conservatives on this forum prove that they care only about their own pocket books and no one else's

I've been maxing out my 401k for the last 5 years, plan on continuing until I retire. I'm looking at about 17% gain in 2017. It's part of my fiscal discipline Kapony was talking about.

The government takes thousands from me every single year. I don't even take all the deductions that I am entitled to take because it takes too much time.
I am very fortunate and I have no problem donating my time and money to people in need.

Fit, social security and medicare are going to have to be cut or they are going to fail. Again it's about understanding economics and understanding that placing your retirement or the well being of you and your family in the governments hands is misguided.

Good on you however for not denying what I said.
I prefer to take care of my responsibilities before I donate my money to organizations that actually help the poor instead of creating a multi-generational underclass like the welfare system does. I don't work so Latoya can lay on her fat ass eating Doritos and watching Steve Harvey, I work so that my children can have a better life than I did.
