I'm loosely rooting for UR just for conference SOS but can they both lose? This is a win win situation from JMU's standpoint.

I'll pull for UR, but with one hand tied behind my back (thus making the same amount of noise as any RU fan during a game minus the involuntary gas emissions). Hope it's a close game, but a CAA win nonetheless. Perhaps both teams will have several players DQ'd for the season after the game.

Need a CAA win to shut the Southland conference up for good on SOS not mattering. Something meaningless though such as 3-0 score wise.

Aw hale no I ain't rooting for RU. No freakin' way. If our SOS suffers a little bit if they lose...totally worth it.

I wouldn't pull for UR if they were playing against ISIS with Kim Jong Dong at QB.

Let them go get beat by a team w absolutely mopped the floor with.

If this season goes the way I believe it will, our SOS will not matter, because we will have lost 1 game tops.

Since it will help JMU, will hold my nose, root for RU, then take a shower afterward because I'll feel dirty.

BDKJMU speaks the truth. As the authority on hating ticks, I will simply say that he has affirmed my belief in hating ticks, but looking out for the Dukes best interests. That, and it's possible that I rate Keeler lower than UR. KC is like the turd that somehow slipped out of the septic tank and settled on a cesspool just below said tank.

I watched a snippet of the SLC media day on espn3, mainly because I wanted to hear what KC Keeler had to say.

He barely acknowledged us or what happened on that Dark, Cold and Perfect night in December. He admitted it was a mistake for him to put an injured Briscoe into that game but he's 100% and so they're suddenly world beaters. I hate to break it you to KC, but an injured QB doesn't single handedly result in a 58 point difference in the ball game.

I really don't care. I feel our team controls our destiny. While one never knows what is going to happen in a football season in terms of injuries and such, I think we have the depth to lose any single player on our roster and be OK. So, from that standpoint, I really don't care who wins. When they run into JMU they're gonna be in trouble.

You also get to root against Keeler. If you were to ask me which I-AA HC I would root against the most, KC would probably be #1..
-RU at least has Durden. I hope he does well this season, even though I hope RU doesn't.

I mean, would you expect him to exude negativity at a media day to kick off a new season? Have to put as positive a spin on that embarrassment as possible.

Pulling for the Ticks. Would love to see 2 undefeated teams in Bridgeforth Nov 11 playing for all the conference marbles. Should get some decent hype.

I'm just excited to see a high level non-conference match up between 2 teams we have recent history with. If the Ticks win big, that should shut up the SHSU fans who think our game in the playoffs was a fluke.

No I didn't, but it didn't make his spin any less hilarious. They said nothing short of winning a national championship would be a successful outcome and that's their goal. It's like JMU and NDSU don't exist haha.
