Hard to imagine seeing Bradley miss the tournament after once beating Dallas Baptist and Iowa in consecutive games, but they HAVE lost 5 straight.
We need Missouri St or Dallas Baptist winning the Missouri Valley tournament and for Bradley to stumble.
How the hell does Kentucky get in with a losing record in the SEC?
Clemson makes sense as getting in seeing as they just swept Florida State on the road. They outscored FSU by 13 runs in the series too. That was huge for them.

Is that rhetorical?
Because... money? It's always money. Kentucky in would make them a lot more money, IMO than UNCW or another mid-major in. More fans. More money. That's the way it aaaaaaalways works. The deck is stacked against us. Time to poker face up and play the hands.

I may be arguing sementics but i dont think its necessarily money per say more like beneift of the doubt. Big school tougher conference usually beats a high number of wins mid major school in the at large game.
But ive been surprised by our seeding before. When we got the nine seed in the 06 tournament i was shocked. I thought we would have been lucky to make it if we had not beaten hofstra

I wasn't too surprised. The conference ended up having four 25-game winners. The conference champ deserved to be rewarded, and we won both the regular season AND tournament crowns that year.
However, with hindsight being 20/20 and all, the 9-seed is an awful place to be. It would have been much better to end up a 10 or 11.
But let's not bring up old, painful basketball memories in a baseball thread, haha.

Well, i think it's a pretty good spot to be. We should have won that game to boot~!
