But what would Franken whine about? He won. Coleman was the whiner.
You are a grade-A dumba$$! After election noght 2008, Coleman won re-election by a slim margin. Franken whined like only he can, got himself a recount and wouldn't you know, they found missing ballots in somebody's car. To the shock of no one, these phantom ballots were all for Franken.
Conclusion: Coleman won on election night, Franken won on a recount. Dummy!!!
What does a mandatory recount mean, dumb***?
And you don't win on election night. You win after the votes are certified, dumb***.
This usually takes a fee weeks, dumb***.
What does finding ballots that should never have been counted in somebody's car mean? It means Franken stole the election. Dumba$$!
Respectfully sir, it means you're full of ****. dumb***.
Quote:Reichert is all too happy to provide an explanation. She says the “car ballot” story is “just not true,” painting a picture of normal balloting procedures twisted into something grotesquely misleading.
The “car ballot” story emerged Saturday from the mouth of Coleman lawyer Fritz Knaak, who, according to AP, told reporters, “We were actually told ballots had been riding around in her car for several days, which raised all kinds of integrity questions.”
Knaak never provided a source and did not return two MinnPost calls for comment. However, he was already backing off his story at the same press event. As that day’s Pioneer Press noted, “Knaak said he feels assured that what was going on with the 32 ballots was neither wrong nor unfair.”
Still, the lie that won’t die is that Reichert toted around ballots like an empty McDonald’s bag thrown into the back seat.
Before getting into the details, she makes three fundamental points:
1. The ballots were never in her car.
2. The ballots were never in anyone’s car for several days.
3. The ballots were never lost or forgotten, and spent Election Night until counting day in secure city facilities.

I wasn't talking to Chris.
The bolded part suggests otherwise.
Yet another assumption...why would I come here to talk to Chris McDaniel? I'm sure his email works just fine.
Playing coy is only cool so many times in one conversation.

1. I don't think I have ever heard of another Gore-supporter (in 2000) admit that about Gore.
2. I wasn't closely focused on the Franken/Coleman deal, but my memory of it is that neither man was really "whining", it just took a long time to sort out an astonishingly close race. There was another US Senate race like that in New Hampshire in the 1970s in which the Senate was unable to decide which candidate to seat, and so the state (NH) simply held a do-over election in mid-September, more than 10 months after the original election. Campaigns in New Hampshire are relatively inexpensive; I wonder if candidates in a large state like Florida or Ohio would agree to do something like that.

I voted for Gore, but he just got downright embarrassing the more he went on. Of course, at that time I didn't know what Bush was going to do in Iraq...so...
Sadly, I was actually glad in the brief aftermath after 9/11 that Bush was president instead of Gore. But that was back when I bought into the meme that Republicans were the party of defense. Boy was I wrong about that!

Republicans don't use the race card against their own. Dixie is correct.

That looks like a very nice facility.
It was originally built to be the Cyber Command Center for Barksdale Air Force Base but they stopped that program for some reason.
lol, I was thinking to myself "damn, where did a CC get the budget for that"
We had to get Maxine Smith and the State involved just to get the funding.
Man, the Community College is brand new and bad ass too...
I wish I could find an aerial shot... They're finishing the dorms and two more buildings for it right now... And they have to increase the parking lots every year. It's growing in leaps and bounds...

That's really nice for a CC...a lot of folks underesimate CCs.
I'm glad my classes were at the Smith center. Students at the Union ave campus had 4 year old computers and were still learning XP. We had new computers, small class size, smart labs, and we used Windows 7/Linux...they also made sure we graduated with a Cisco Cert.

Sources have confirmed that attorney Mark Mayfield has died of an apparent suicide.
Mayfield, vice chairman of the Mississippi Tea Party, and is one of the three men charged with conspiring with Clayton Kelly to photograph U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran's bedridden wife in her nursing home and create a political video against Cochran.
RE: BREAKING! There May Be Enough Invalidated Votes to Overturn Cochran Victory
My problem with the tea party is a matter of function. They're too often unreasonably obstinate.
I like getting Republicans elected. I'd like to see conservatives get elected to national office. Making everything a war of ideological purity isn't going to advance anything good. The party has to return to being a "big tent". Gays, Latinos, moderates, and women need to feel comfortable in the party. Being pale, male, and stale isn't going to work in the long term.
The tea party is known nationally as a bunch of homophobic, racist, gun-toting, nutcases. Whether correct or not, this image doesn't help anyone except Democrats
