Well, if the majority of folks don't see gay people are wierd, then what's the problem?
I have to think that this whole "gay rights" thing (how do you give a civil right to a behavior?) is just folks who want to stick a finger in the eye of an older more conservative generation.
They probably aren't trying to stick a finger in their eye. They just aren't trying to spare their feelings. If you ever want to get what you want, you can't care about feelings.

That's their personal life and only God will judge them just as He will judge everyone of us.
Nobody is perfect.
A sin is a sin.
Ill be glad when all the gay players finally come out so the sideshow can quickly end and the focus be back on football and football players on the field playing a game.
I'm just glad our founding fathers, namely Jefferson, were smart enough to ensure the separation of church and state (as held up by the Supreme Court).
You can't use religious dogma to deny someone rights in America...if so, we would just be a Christian version of Iran.
Now that we are in the spin room (never saw that cumin) someone needs to tell Herd guy there isn't a god and I will tell you our founding fathers grew hemp and were slave owners......holy fkn shite

I don't give a rat's ass if someone is gay, but I could do without all the gay-pride stuff in the media. I don't attend any hetero-pride events, and I don't shove hetero-pride down anyone's throat.
Can we not talk about sexual preference and just treat everyone with respect?

Gay, straight, or undecided, if he'd hit just one I'd have been a happy man.
In the end ( no pun intended) this is what matters most. What the player does on the field.

Good idea. Let's do that when gay people aren't discriminated against anymore.
[Forgive my pointedness and lack of censure] And to all the "being gay is a choice" folks out there... If you can't relate to "Did you choose to be sexually attracted to women?" then I don't know what to tell you. Tell me how I will be able to dictate to my body who I am physically attracted to. Tell me how I can become attracted to someone I am NOT ATTRACTED TO, not aroused by in any means, through my choice. Can't happen, I'm sorry. I would know.

Just sayin'. And I totally disapprove of his chosen lifestyle
And I totally disapprove of bigoted asshats
You disapprove of his disapproval, which he has every right to do. Know what that makes you using your own definition?
You really think it's worse to disapprove of an act than the act itself? Nothing people do that you disapprove of?
Don't try to reason with him/her. It's not worth the time or effort. I stated my position without making a personal attack and blahblah could not. It is what it is.

I don't care what you do behind closed doors, but keep it behind closed doors. Dangerous and immoral behavior should be shamed, not promoted. Just my opinion.

Sexual preference is wherever you let your mind wander to. I had many phases where I have preferred Asians, black chicks, and even went through a phase where I liked fat chicks. If you were locked in a room with nothing but midget porn, you would eventually succumb to it. If you were repeatedly molested by your stepfather, your mind will take you to arousal by same sex acts, which is why the vast majority of those claiming to be homosexual were molested. It isn't a complete choice - nobody chose to be molested - but it is absolutely reversible.

Quote:The American Psychiatric Association noted in a 2000 fact sheet on gay, lesbian and bisexual issues that "no specific psychosocial or family dynamic cause for homosexuality has been identified, including histories of childhood sexual abuse." The fact sheet goes on to say that sexual abuse does not appear to be any more prevalent among children who grow up and identify as gay, lesbian or bisexual than in children who grow up and identify as heterosexual.
Similarly, the National Organization on Male Sexual Victimization notes on its website that "experts in the human sexuality field do not believe that premature sexual experiences play a significant role in late adolescent or adult sexual orientation" and added that it's unlikely that someone can make another person gay or heterosexual.
