Didn't work out in any NFL camps. Makes it more likely that his discussion of being gay may have been to get
an NFL shot.

I don't really care to defend him... But he didn't say that. He pulled a "1%" number out of his butt and said that 1% of gay people have a genetic defect, backed up by no evidence whatsoever... But he never presented it as fact either.
Do you have evidence that a boy acting like a girl or vice versa is normal behavior?

I didn't call you out about anything other than making up numbers. Even more brazenly, you made up a number for a made up premise. There is no evidence to support your general claim, and obviously no evidence to support your percentage. So, tell me again, why do I need evidence to debunk your imaginary claim?

most gay men don't wear ass-less chaps, flit around, and march in rallies...most act like any other guy...watch football, drink beer, take pride in their belches...they simply have sexual feelings towards other men...but most don't act like women...except for their sexual feelings.
I do think gay pride events should be toned down...they aren't helping

Then we are in agreement. I wasn't talking about most gay guys. I was talking about the small percentage that I think were born with a deformity.

I didn't make up any numbers or premise. I stated my opinion and it is my opinion. I never stated it as fact. If someone instinctually exhibits the characteristics on another gender, there is some chromosonal deformity there... opinion, but a logical one, no?

I'd say so. Humans didn't evolve that way. The left loves to say us righties hate science then ignore it when the discussion turns to evolution, reproduction and homosexuality. I'm not the one saying being gay is a choice. Biology is.

Solid point on evolution and genetics. Homosexuality is one genetic trait that seems evolution would elminate over time.

How do you know homosexuality isn't simply evolutions version of population control? Remember, homosexual behavior has been observed in some 1,500 different species in nature.

Deformity refers to a major difference in shape or size of a body part or organ...wouldn't apply to being gay.

I've never heard deformity used that way...but hey, if that's what the dictionary says.

That depends. If there was a homosexual gene, it could've been kept alive and well through people acting against that preference for thousands of years. Culture has made us go against our own genetics since man first stood straight.

I don't know the exact source (it's Google-able if you want) but I read an article earlier this year of a researched link between an "attraction gene". Since all fetuses start out female, the natural attraction is to males. Supposedly some gene doesn't get switched or does, determining orientation. Research is ongoing, I believe, but it's interesting.

Well, he's sort-of active.
He should find a team next year. But it will be harder as at least two NBA owners are extremely anti-gay (Utah and Orlando).
My guess is that he would have been picked up anyway. He's a good player with a couple of years left at this level.
