MLB Bold Predictions
If anyone has any bold predictions (not like, "i think Votto is gonna hit .330"), this is the place to share them.

I think the Rangers will be better this season even though they lost Hamilton and a few relievers. Their biggest addition, was the subtraction of Michael Young, who in 2012 was statistically speaking one of the worst position players of all time. Getting rid of him and replacing him with a competent player will result in a few wins. I also believe that Josh Hamilton is extremely overrated and can be replaced through a combo of decent hitting, good fielding and good baserunning.

I think Bryce Harper hits 40 homers this year and is a real MVP candidate, much like Trout last year.

what's funny is that I don't think the MVP part is very bold, but I think the 40 HR is. Let's see if you're right

He had 13 hr in the last 2 months last year. extrapolate that out and that's 40 hr for season.

The Seattle Mariners will be in contention in the AL West at the All-Star break of the year and finish with 85+ wins.

Hamilton hit what? 9 in a week at one point last year? Be careful with your extrapolations.

All three of the Braves outfielders flirt with 30-30 and at least one of them gets there.

true, but 1 week is a lot different than 58 games.

i like this one, bold indeed. Justin has never stolen more than 21, Heyward only stole 21 last year and BJ has never hit 30 HR. This is the kind of bold prediction i was looking for.

That is why San Diego wants him in the starting lineup. He's a hitter...
