Gyorko hits hr in 1st spring training game on Friday! (Grand Slam even!)
That is why San Diego wants him in the starting lineup. He's a hitter...
and because he's a WVU alum

Reds. Need I say more. With Choo in the lineup as leadoff and a .389 on base percentage, I don't see anyone challenging the Reds in this division. If they don't win, it will be due to injuries. Choo is a stud player, great eye at the plate, walks alot, hit 16 homers in Cleveland and can probably double that in Cincinnati or at least 25, 289 BA, great arm, good instincts, steals bases all around solid player. With him on base and Votto and Phillips hitting as the opposing pitcher is in the stretch, it will give the top of the lineup a huge advantage.

What does him being a WVU alum have to do with San Diego wanting a fellow that averaged better than .333 in the lineup?
Or is that just an extremely weak attempt at smack talk, swoosh?

no doubt they're going to be nasty. They're absolutely loaded and if Chapman can smoothly make the transition to starter, their rotation is gonna be filthy

another bold prediction: Braves fans are going to be calling for BJ upton's head by the trade deadline. At that point i think his numbers will be: .215/.291/.422 with 10 HR and 14 SB

Blue Jays will break the AL record (1978 Oakland A's, 341 I believe) for the most stolen bases in a single season.

The Braves bullpen is indeed very Groh-ish. They usually start the march toward Grohmentum with 2-3 weeks left in the season.

Jets and UVA or am I crazy? Keep in mind the likelihood of the former does not preclude the possibility of the latter

his time as the Ga Tech "defensive" coordinator which was more offensive than anything else. Offensive to GT fans that is.

Astros will not finish last in the AL West this year.Since I don't really believe that I think it's bold.

Another bold prediction: BJ ends up with a better average than his brother. I don't believe this will happen, but would certainly be amazing

hopefully that doesn't happen. I'd like to see them really go for it, either by trading for Stanton or Rios. the latter might be a good way of going for it without having to give up too much

RE: MLB Bold Predictions
We have such a pitching surplus that a move is certainly possible. We got Burnett, Liriano, Rodriquez, Morton, MacDonald, Locke, and now Garret Cole. I think MacDonald goes to the Sharktank (Bullpen) and, either Liarano or Rodriquez is trade bait to pick up one of those 2 names you mentioned.
