I wasted my time reading this entire thread. It is amazing to me how stupid some of the people that post on this board are in general about sports in general and the business side of sports in particular. If Bruce Pearl is such a good coach why does he always end up blacklisted either formally or informally?

Since 2008, this board has been trying to compare every team with THAT team.....and so few people seem to understand that THAT team was once in a lifetime. In all likelihood, the stars probably won't ever be aligning like that for Memphis again.

We will assume that she is ordering you to be a Memphis Tiger fan, because well...well because that's how your teams are chosen for you. I'm sure that the wife chooses what clothes you wear every day, and she has simply gone from choosing blue, to red, and now back to blue clothing.

I feel bad for you. It must be almost impossible getting 10 cents on the dollar on EBay, for all of that red makeup you have to unload.

I don't think you will have to worry about firing him. I figure he will be looking for a way out now. Who wants to work for guy who makes his decisions on who he is friends with.
