Indeed.
As I said, I am laughing at your stupid ass not the situation.

You are a single piece of **** that lives in a one bedroom section 8 apartment, works for minimum wage, has the deductive reasoning ability of a 5 year old and couldn't get by without the government tit loser. You add nothing of value to this country or to humanity in general.

Your life is so pathetic you have to use a tragedy like this to attack people you've never met on an internet messageboard. You are part of the lowest common denominator of human existence. If you disappeared tomorrow no one would notice and you'd be remembered for nothing.

Children are dead and your first reaction is to attack those that disagree with you. And make no mistake about it Robert you can call others "dumb" all you want but in reality you know as well as we do that you are by far the most ignorant son of a ***** on the internet. You are worthless in every way, shape and form.

Sounds like someone is having a battle with himself here. 03-lmfao

You can't compare the two incidents. One was probably a crazed gunman, the other incident points towards the decisions our leaders make along with deception. The Conn incident, as horrible as it may be, has no overall impact on the direction of the country, Obama's actions, inactions, lies and truths do.

Oh STFU Mr. exploit the death of the ambassador in Benghazi non-stop for a month to score cheap political points.

Apparently you don't understand that involved the actual responsibilities of the job of the president and his staff (not to be confused with playing golf, selling insurance and community organizing). Please stop voting.

I thought you cons didn't try to suppress votes? 03-wink

Idiot.

Wrong on all accounts but thanks. Maybe we need to make schools fortresses. Of course, the problem is that you would refuse to pay the taxes needed for that to happen.

Schools shouldn't be fortresses, the people in them should be fortified in their person.

"an armed society is a polite society" - Robert Heinlein

Is it polite to shoot up a mall in Oregon.
Is it polite to shoot up a Kindegarten in Connecticut
Is it polite to shoot up a Congresspersons' meet and greet
Is it polite to shoot up a high school in Colorado
Is it polite to shoot a man wearing a hoodie armed with skittles
Is it polite to shoot up a movie theater in Colorado
Is it polite to shoot up a University in Virginia

If anyone thinks that our society is polite, see the above list. These are not uncommon events anymore. Giving everyone including the insane virtually unlimited access to no check gun purchases isn't working. Not having waiting periods isn't working.

RE: If only the teachers had guns!
My mom just said last weekend, that something like this would happen somewhere soon. In my sleepy little town of 16,000, there's an average of 6 handguns found a week and most often in elementary schools. She also says that with as many alcoholics, drug addicts, and extremely mentally ill people as we have; it's a matter of when rather than if somebody's going to walk in and start shooting.

A few chiefs of police and the NCEA are actually supposed to be lobbying the General Assembly for emergency carry during the next session. Situations like these are why this is happening.

I say that an armed society is a polite society as long as it's the right people that have most of the weapons.

But the NRA is attempting to make sure that there is no effective check to ensure that the 'right people' have most of the weapons.

Here's what could be done, without infringing on anyones 2nd Amendment rights.

1) An end to 'no-check' gun sales. If people want to privately sell a weapon, the purchaser and buyer can go to the police station, where both their records are checked. Increased oversight of gun shows and other legal points where guns are sold.

2) A 48 hour cooling off period for purchases. The liberal bastion of Alabama (!) has this law

3) Increased ATF funding for more agents to ensure that straw sales laws are more vigorously enforced.

4) A ban or tax on high capacity clips. Or if that isn't constitutionally feasable, a requirement to register such guns.

5) Increased criminal penalties for those breaking firearm access laws.

If you want a gun - be my guest! If you want to sell your gun (or enable those that do) to someone who may be insane, a straw purchaser, or a criminal, then unfortunately its all our business.

You're talking to the guy who called the death of four Americans in Benghazi a "fart in the wind." Clearly anyone that takes what happened there seriously he's going to attack.

With all the gun laws currently on the books do you really think more laws would prevent this?
If a person is insane enough to desire to shoot up a school do you honestly think he will change his mind after a waiting/cooling off period?

Bottom line if someone wants to do something like this they will find a way to do it. If not with guns then maybe they will mix diesal fuel and fertilizer to make a bomb. People will be just as dead whether blown up or shot.

Naive is the only description I can think of for you solutions.
