Well its only +21 at this point, which gets them to 235 with 112 (205-118) seats uncalled. I was curious where their gains were. Republicans haven't picked up any Democratic seats yet. But the Dems
Arizona
California (2) (Dems have 34 of 35 seats called with 59% of the vote in all of their wins and 59% or better in 10 of the 17 undecided seats)
Colorado
Iowa (3)
Indiana
Kentucky
North Carolina
Nebraska (probably not on the radar)
New Jersey
Ohio (2)
Pennsylvania (3)
Texas
Utah
Virginia (2)

As for governors, Dems have picked up TX, GA, IA and OH and lead 25-16 and will win Hawaii and likely Minnesota, but the Republicans appear to have won Vermont and likely New Hampshire and Tennesse, so that is 27-19 with no votes in for NV and Alaska and Kansas and Nebraska really close. So it will be between 27-23 and 31-19.

You know what would be an interesting experiment? Watching Olympic spots being taken by transgender athletes. Let's put policies in place to make that happen. Might as well open the doors to the madhouse while we're at it.

Biggest topic concerning everyday Americans... transgenders participating in sports.

He's not exactly wrong. >_>

Well, I'm not really familiar with Abbott's stance or where some members of Congress stand on Trump's policies. I assumed they'd mostly side with Trump simply because they're Republicans. I'll take your word for it.

Abbott's been pretty good, for the most part, but he wasn't exactly our best governor. That was Rick Perry, his predecessor. As for Congress (that is, both chambers), we just didn't prioritize the economy enough. And yes, that's due in part to Trump and his not ending the IRGC's stranglehold on Iran once and for all, up to this point.

Go on Kalshi prediction site. Real people do the research for us and put their money on the line for their predictions. 95%+ certain Dems will have 30 governorships. House is looking like anywhere between 255-262 with a 95% percentile. 55 seats in Senate is like 95%+ certain as well.

Jackson jumps to 5 points over Collins. Dems are really one or two more wins away from not having to worry about a Fetterman-type breaking away

Edit: Collins has thrown in the towel

I'm firmly against any efforts by democrats to impeach Trump or his cabinet... huge waste of time....

Well, at least you're someone on the left who is. I appreciate that.

Indefinitely. Once the number drop below six, they don't have a quorum and can't do anything.

Thanks! I'd imagine with the current makeup of the court if they dropped to even 7 with Roberts being a wildcard, they might not get much done.

It can remain open forever if the Congress never confirms a nominee or the President never signs off on any that are confirmed. DeSantis is right. It's unlikely GOP will regain Senate in 2028. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to ram through a replacement for Thomas or Alito. But unlikely given such a historic pushback this election. It would just give Dems even more ammunition to stack the court in 2028 assuming they win Presidency.

Dem takes the lead in MS. 28 votes ahead with 97% reporting. That will be going to a recount

Expect Musk to suddenly become a moderate. He'll have a short leash in TX with the governor and can not afford to make the situation worse.
