1. NC was very good for dems

2. Texas was initially good for dems, then the gop reversed that later.

4. Ohio metro areas are really bad for the democrats.

Let's not count our chickens before they hatch.

This is going to be a long day.

RE: 2026 Midterm Elections Open Thread
I just did my part and voted. The place was a steady stream of voters but I was in and out in probably ten minutes. Would have been faster if I just bubbled in "straight ticket" but I bubbled in each and every choice. Here in my area of Kentucky , there's not much question what the results will be but I did my part, nonetheless.

My gut says the dems will take both houses of Congess. I hope I'm wrong because it'll be two years of show trial investigations and impeachments and nothing will get done.

Exactly.

That's what the Democrats want though.

They think it will help them win in 2028.

Yep. They have two years to destroy Vance and Rubio. After today, Trump is no longer their target. Rubio and Vance will be the bad guys.

There will never be another Republican President ever again after Trump.

The Democrats will make sure of that.

Hey everyone, looking for 20 ballots to give to my illegal immigrant friends who want to vote for the dems. Do you know where I can find them? Very very important to fight for DEMocracy.

Its highly unlikely dems can take the senate. They would need 4 flips at a minimum to do that. If Rogers wins MI, dems would need to flip 5. If Fetterman decides to become an independent and caucus with the republicans, they would need 6.

The house will likely flip to dem control.

And this scenario would actually be extremely bad for dems. Because it sets up 2 years of buffoonery and acting like jackholes in control in the house, where two years from now they would get whacked in a presidential election.

I'm told there is a white Biden-Harris van handing out stacks of ballots.

The great thing about living in Tennessee-

Saw a story that said the TN Democrat Party had internally told candidates to brace for big losses. They even pointed to clown Malcolm X wannabe Justin Pearson losing Cohen’s congressional district 9. The only part of that is that Cohen elected to not run therefore he didn’t voted out of congress but walked away instead. I cannot wait for the crying and screams of racism from Pearson and the Dems. Also glad to see Jerri Green lose bigly to Marsha.

It took me an hour to vote this morning. Might be the highest turnout ever in my precinct.

I would LMAO if they got to 51-49 Dems and Fetterman switched parties making 50-50 and JD breaking the ties

Florida is definitely going the GOP way. Even Broward county is trending more red that 2 and 4 years ago.

In Virginia, early voting totals showed Dems in the lead by nearly 250k votes with nearly 90k unknown. I think personally that is bad for dems since historically Republicans normally vote on election day by greater numbers.

The Silent Majority. Twitter is not real life. "Normal" people aren't on twitter, don't respond to polls, don't wear political shirts, have bumper stickers or put signs up in their yards. They mind their own business, go to work, pay their bills and show up to vote without saying a word because we aren't trying to be included in a bubble club of crazy.

Polls suggest Blackburn is not to going to win "big." Apparently, David Hatley, an independent who has hammered on Blackburn for months now, has a chance to win a respectable percentage of votes. Will be interesting to see how it plays out here in Tennessee.

IDK. I think they will continue to attack Trump long after he is gone. He is an easy mark for the crazy hordes.

There is a very good chance "Muh Polls" become obsolete after this election. They can't reach people like they used to when a land line was called, and people weren't threatened by the Left for speaking their mind.
