I’m really not sure what the big deal is about the results from the other night.
Blue areas did blue things and got what they want.

My question is, so what?

Let them implode with their insanity.

No needle was moved and they’ll have to deal with the consequences of their decisions.

Will they though? We have multiple recent/present examples of the failure of socialism (Venezuala), and yet that had no impact on the NYC election. My fear is that we as a society have become too dumb, fat, and lazy to bother learning history or partake in critical thinking.

Blue states may get bluer and red states will get more red. That’s how it’s gonna go.

Colorado and Virginia were once red states. Look at them now.

Residents from NYC will flee to Florida, Tennessee and Texas, and bring their twisted worldviews with them. Just look at Tennessee. Memphis is gone, Nashville is not far behind, and Chattanooga and Knoxville aren't far behind either.

Have none of you noticed how much the tide has turned? Seriously. Stop wringing your hands. The battle is hardly won, but there has been much progress made. Just because some of the chitiest bluest places remain chitty blue places changes nothing.
