A lot of people would love to live in a city where you could leave your front doors unlocked without fear of someone breaking into it. It might not be lush and green but dry and not humid in the summer is a whole lot better. Right now it's 70 degrees and sunny, in the morning it got down to 45 degrees.

There are a lot of areas that are really nice. If I was asked where to go I'd tell them to drive on Transmountain drive from the east to west, it's beautiful especially when the flowers bloom around September. When my wife and I would travel I would fall in love with many places but after a week we were ready to head home to our dry desert home where we don't know what a tornado, hurricane, blizzard, or earthquake are. We are blessed with good people that respect others regardless of race, creed or nationality. If you don't bother us or get in our faces we won't even know you're there. On the recent No Kings Day even though it's 80% Democrat only about 100 showed up in a city of close to 800k. Pretty good huh?

Messing with you my brother. Knew a guy that when he had a bad day would fly to El Paso for a steak then fly back. No lie.

I got robbed by federales in juarez but had fun in el paso.

Just messin

I have spent time in practically every big city in the country, even Honolulu, which was nice when I lived there, but that was 40 years ago. It's really a different situation from all others.

El Paso is the only city of the top 30 in population now that I haven't been to.

SF used to be fine, before the libs screwed it up. I can't really think of another big city I have ever liked.

I love the food in Nawlins, but you have to pick and choose the parts you visit.

Who hasn't. If you visit Juarez you better take some cash for the mordidas-bribes. I haven't been there in about 30 years, don't miss it.

SNAP Recipients Promise to Loot and Steal If Benefits Run Dry
Had one of the finest dinners I’ve ever had in Juarez and I’m actually a recovering chef.

Large copper plates, seafood, prawns, ceviche, steak perfectly seasoned and cooked.

Sangria flowing free. Best service and no looking over your shoulder, as lovely and peaceful as it could have been.

1987, out west with my Dad and colleagues on a paleontologist field trip. ( I was the pack mule for the trip)

Lot of good places in SW Texas also, as in way deep SW. pitchers of shiner were 4 bucks.

Good stuff.

What happened?

One would think that would occur quite often given the abundance of firearms in America. Wait, what? It does? But it's not covered by the media. Why isn't this major news? The media doesn't care if it doesn't involve a Black person as the victim or children dying in school.

"...a 2021 survey places the number at around 1.67 million defensive uses annually, suggesting the true figure may lie somewhere in the middle of the broad 500,000 to 2.8 million range.
Additionally, some research indicates that armed civilians stop a significant portion of public mass shootings, with one analysis estimating success rates between 34% and nearly 60% depending on gun carry laws in the location.

My advice is if you go to Walmart this weekend take your weapon with you.

I never leave home without it.

Where do you guys live? I'm in suburban Dayton, Ohio, and have never once had an issue at the local Kroger or Meijer. I rarely go to Walmart but that is because their stores are super dirty. I can't imagine you will need any weapons to protect yourself unless you are in a bad part of town.

You can't be this naive. Have you not been keeping up with the threats being made by these welfare wonders? If they're going to steal food or rob shoppers, what makes you think they're going to do it in the poor parts of town where no one has any money to begin with???

You really do live in a world apart from reality.

I dont live in Memphis. Its been destroyed by prog filth. People flee...to places like...Dayton. 03-lmfao

Dayton is fine. Im frickin with you.

My dearly departed mother was born there. As close as I ever came to it was Columbus OH. That was enough to throw me off Ohio.

Here's a question. After DC, where did Trump send the NG next? Dayton or Memphis? I doubt Dayton is on the list at all.

I've seen nothing about robbing shoppers. Please share the info. Stealing food from a store and robbing shoppers are 2 separate things. I also suspect that if the stores are concerned about the online threats that they'll have an off duty cop sitting at the door.

Geographically Columbus is the most boring city in the state. Politically that area and north in the state are very left. The areas around Dayton, Cincinnati, and other southern parts of the state are much more conservative. The state is fine, albeit winter here is pretty awful because you hardly see the sun.

It's in several threads containing tweets from idiotic black people. If you have an X account, they're all over it threatening to rob and steal.

Hell, it IS the OP. It's the topic of THIS thread. Dude, seriously?

I was there three days and couldn't wait to leave. It was winter, and you're right, I hardly saw the sun, and it was cold.
