Where do you guys live? I'm in suburban Dayton, Ohio, and have never once had an issue at the local Kroger or Meijer. I rarely go to Walmart but that is because their stores are super dirty. I can't imagine you will need any weapons to protect yourself unless you are in a bad part of town.

I love the food in Nawlins, but you have to pick and choose the parts you visit.

Smell Asso, huh?

A lot of people would love to live in a city where you could leave your front doors unlocked without fear of someone breaking into it. It might not be lush and green but dry and not humid in the summer is a whole lot better. Right now it's 70 degrees and sunny, in the morning it got down to 45 degrees.

There are a lot of areas that are really nice. If I was asked where to go I'd tell them to drive on Transmountain drive from the east to west, it's beautiful especially when the flowers bloom around September. When my wife and I would travel I would fall in love with many places but after a week we were ready to head home to our dry desert home where we don't know what a tornado, hurricane, blizzard, or earthquake are. We are blessed with good people that respect others regardless of race, creed or nationality. If you don't bother us or get in our faces we won't even know you're there. On the recent No Kings Day even though it's 80% Democrat only about 100 showed up in a city of close to 800k. Pretty good huh?

Si, Ollie. Somehow, in all my travels, El Paso is the one large city I've missed. Sounds cool.
