Geographically Columbus is the most boring city in the state. Politically that area and north in the state are very left. The areas around Dayton, Cincinnati, and other southern parts of the state are much more conservative. The state is fine, albeit winter here is pretty awful because you hardly see the sun.
I was there three days and couldn't wait to leave. It was winter, and you're right, I hardly saw the sun, and it was cold.
Wimps. Head up here to the 45th parallel and I'll show you how winter is done right.

Where do you guys live? I'm in suburban Dayton, Ohio, and have never once had an issue at the local Kroger or Meijer. I rarely go to Walmart but that is because their stores are super dirty. I can't imagine you will need any weapons to protect yourself unless you are in a bad part of town.
You can't be this naive. Have you not been keeping up with the threats being made by these welfare wonders? If they're going to steal food or rob shoppers, what makes you think they're going to do it in the poor parts of town where no one has any money to begin with???
You really do live in a world apart from reality.
I've seen nothing about robbing shoppers. Please share the info. Stealing food from a store and robbing shoppers are 2 separate things. I also suspect that if the stores are concerned about the online threats that they'll have an off duty cop sitting at the door.
It's in several threads containing tweets from idiotic black people. If you have an X account, they're all over it threatening to rob and steal.
Hell, it IS the OP. It's the topic of THIS thread. Dude, seriously?
SNAP Recipients Promise to Loot and Steal If Benefits Run Dry
If they’re ready to go loot, steal from whatever retail outlet, how much of a leap is it to demand food stamps or even cash from other fellow travelers?
Lootabalooza 2025!
Mostly peaceful so far. The car jacking and wallets, watches theft will likely start after dusk.

Why would anybody voluntarily do that to themselves, lol? I've been to the Yooper. Beautiful place. But that was in September, not January, lol.

Nope, not anymore. When I was younger, maybe. I spent some time in South Dakota and New Hampshire. That's colder than I ever want to be again.
