Murder At Texas Track Meet
[Image: austin-metcalf.jpg]

Quote:New infuriating details have emerged in the horrific murder of a gifted young Texas high school athlete who had his whole life ahead of him.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, 16-year-old track and football star Austin Metcalf was brutally stabbed to death Wednesday morning during a championship track meet at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

Metcalf, a junior at Frisco Memorial High School, was attacked in broad daylight by 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony of rival school Frisco Centennial around 10 a.m. after the youth became upset about being told he was in the wrong place. Anthony has since been charged with first-degree murder.

Metcalf’s twin brother Hunter then described his final moments in a heartbreaking Thursday afternoon interview on Fox News.

“I turned my head around, and all of a sudden, I see him running down the bleachers, just grabbing his chest. The blood was rushing out. He said, Yeah, he got stabbed. He got stabbed,'” Hunter Metcalf explained.

“At first, I froze for half a second. I didn’t know what to do. Then I saw him about to fall”, he continued. “I went over there—I grabbed him. pushed my hand on there (his chest), trying to make it (the bleeding) stop, and I grabbed his head.”

“I looked into his eyes… I saw his soul leave, and it took my soul, too.”

On Friday, CBS released more details about the attack. Anthony, for some reason, decided to sit down under Metcalf’s school tent for some reason before being asked to leave. Assuming this is true, can anyone blame Metcalf for confronting Anthony?

The outlet also revealed that the police noted Anthony’s chilling final words to Metcalf before he finally stabbed the Frisco Memorial High School junior: “Touch me and see what happens.” Essentially, a death threat.

A couple of witnesses alleged this is precisely what Metcalf did, which supposedly provoked Anthony into killing him. No one knew Anthony had any weapon on him.

Anthony then fled the scene after knifing Metcalf before a police officer caught up to him. The Dallas Morning News reported that as the officer escorted Metcalf to the patrol car, the youth began “crying hysterically” and claimed, “He put his hands on me; I told him not to.”

CBS reported that after an officer captured Anthony and said he had the alleged suspect, the teen confessed to the crime.

One can imagine the race-baiting left will try to use part of this information as an excuse to justify Anthony’s sinister actions. But when is supposedly merely touching an individual justification for ending their life?

RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet
Young black men are angry and have no self control due to usually having no father figure. Not sure this is news except it happened in an upper class suburb?

RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet
4.5%

That's the number of Black males in America who will commit murder in their lifetime

That's approximately 1 in 22 Black men, vs. only 1 in 425 White men.

GROK AI analyses,

The statistics cited in the post come from the FBI’s National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) for 2021, a reliable source for crime data, suggesting the raw numbers are accurate.

The table shows Black males aged 15–64 committing murders at a rate of 95.5 per 100,000, compared to 5.2 for White males, aligning with historical FBI data trends showing higher homicide rates among Black males.

The lifetime murder rate of 4,508 per 100,000 for Black males (equating to 4.5%) is a projection based on 2021 data, not a direct measurement, so its accuracy depends on the assumption that rates remain constant over time.

The post’s claim of 1 in 22 Black men committing murder versus 1 in 425 White men simplifies the data; the actual lifetime rates (4,508 vs. 274 per 100,000) are more nuanced and reflect cumulative risk, not a guaranteed outcome.

NIBRS data has limitations: it only includes reported incidents, and not all agencies participate fully, potentially underrepresenting total murders.

The graph showing Black males reaching a 2.01% implication rate by age 25 is a reasonable extrapolation from NIBRS data, but it assumes consistent behavior across age groups, which may not hold true due to social, economic, or policy changes.

Critics on X, including @fentasyl
credited in the thread, have noted these stats exclude repeat offenders, meaning the 4.5% figure could be closer to 6% if adjusted, adding complexity to the accuracy.

Historical context: FBI data from 2019 shows Black individuals, who are 13% of the U.S. population, accounted for 55.9% of murder offenders, a trend consistent with the 2021 NIBRS data used here.

Socioeconomic factors often linked to crime rates, like poverty or education disparities, aren’t addressed in the post’s stats, which could affect how the numbers are interpreted.

If the victim was black it would be news for weeks or so. At the same time some things would be burned down.07-coffee3

RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet
Karmelo Anthony’s Attorney Argues Austin Metcalf’s Death Could’ve Been ‘Self-Defense’, Will Seek Reduction Of $1M Bond

Quote:The lawyer for Karmelo Anothony, the 17-year-old accused of murdering Austin Metcalf at a Texas track meet, has insisted that he does not have “any reason” to think his client was not acting “in self defense” and will request his bond to be lowered.

After briefly meeting with the teenager on Friday afternoon, Anthony’s attorney Deric Walpole told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth that he believes his client acted in self-defense when he thrust a knife into Metcalf’s heart, as Anthony allegedly told police during his arrest.

“I know that my client said it was self defense. I don’t have any reason to disbelieve that, but I need to develop facts, talk to people, and figure out what’s going on before I make any statements about what I think happened,” Walpole told the outlet. “I don’t have any reason to think it wasn’t self defense at this time.”

Walpole also stated that he has requested a hearing next week to reduce Anthony’s bond, which might increase the likelihood of his pretrial release.

Anthony has been held in the Collin County Jail on a seven-figure bond since being charged with fatally stabbing Metcalf, also 17, and leaving him to die in his twin brother’s arms at an athletic event in Frisco on Wednesday morning.

The stabbing began when Metcalf, a Memorial High School junior, requested Anthony, a Centennial High School student, to move from underneath Memorial’s pop-up tent during a rain delay — and Anthony refused, according to an arrest report.

Anthony unzipped a bag, reached inside and told Metcalf, “touch me and see what happens,” a witness told police.

According to authorities, Metcalf “grabbed Anthony to tell him to move and Anthony pulled out … a black knife and stabbed Austin once in the chest.”

Metcalf’s twin brother, Hunter, raced to Austin’s rescue but was unable to save him.

“I put my hand on [his chest], tried to make [the bleeding] stop, and I grabbed his head and I looked in his eyes. I just saw his soul leave. And it took my soul, too,” Hunter told Fox News in an emotional interview the following day.

Anthony tried to get away but was quickly arrested.

“I’m not alleged, I did it,” Anthony confessed to police as he was being taken into custody, according to the arrest report.

“I was protecting myself,” Anthony allegedly told cops. “He put his hands on me.”

It is news because the murderer sat in the wrong tent on purpose, issued a threat to the people in the tent, and murdered another student who happened to be white.

This was a carefully planned attack that ended up with 1st degree murder.

I'm fairly sure the murderer's lawyer will use the issues in your first sentence to explain his client's actions to influence the jury. I will NOT be surprised if the murderer is given a lenient sentence because of his anger and lack of self control. The judge can shrug and explain to the victim's family "sh1t happens".

The victim's family has to be outraged over this surreal turn of events.

I'm tired of third party excuses. He murdered an unarmed kid at a public event. End of story. We can't deal with suppositions, asymmetrical comparisons, and race can't be a deciding factor if justice is blind. I don't care what your ethnicity, race, religion, or upbringing is. Did you commit a murder. If yes, you should be subject to the laws of that state.

This nation was in a downward spiral and mostly due to ignoring law and making bullshat excuses for whatever aggrieved group committed a damn crime. No society can stand where that is permitted as it has one ending, civil war breaking out over inequitable enforcement of law. And no good citizen should want or embrace open upheaval because it is a fire that burns all. And any city official, law officer, or judge who makes exceptions should be fired or impeached.

One that feels entitled did not accept that he was not. And an innocent kid gets killed because the entitled kid felt his needs and wishes above anyone else's. It is that simple. Put a very wide-gage needle in the most painful injection site and let justice be served.

The kid alone is not responsible, nor are his parent(s). Obama started this entitlement crap, and the media pushed it to the outer limits. Most social behaviors are learned, not instinctual, and this kid thinking he had the right to occupy a space not for his own team, and willing to kill to defend his perceived "right" has been promoted and supported by the left and a complaint media.

FAFO. Unfortunately, the kid that FA was not the one that FO. Equal justice to the crime is my best outcome, but I am sure the perp here will be treated with kid gloves.

And you wonder why this country is on the verge of another civil war? Fools.

Carrying a knife to a track meet? Lil' yum-yum trying to jump the shark. May the shark bite back hard.

Wouldn't that be Capital Murder since he killed the kid in the process of committing another crime? Having a knife on school property.

Another thing, how can someone be so stupid to think that killing the person that was holding him back going to land him a position on the team that he cherished?

That's like those idiots who kill their wives because they won't let them see the kids. What does that accomplish? Not a thing, he'll be in jail for a long time or it'll land him in the electric chair depriving him of EVER seeing his kids grow up even from a distance. Plus, they'll have their kids hating him until the end.

But, emotions being the way they are, sometimes a person lets ol' beelzebub control them. It's hard, I've had to fight those demons too.

RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet
After seeing the video it seems to me that the Black kid already had this action in mind, just by the fact that he TOOK the knife to the meet. Premeditated murder more like it. The dumb White boy pushed the Black kid not knowing that that's just what the Black kid was hoping would happen...and it did.

His father is a true Christian, as a father AND a Christian I admit it would be hard for me to forgive something like that happening to one of my loved ones. I eventually think that I would forgive but it would take time as I would be consumed by hurt and yes, hate. God bless this man and his family.

Do you think the “I was being bullied by a white supremacist” defense is gonna work? If it were anywhere but Texas, it just might.
