Sorry dude, but this is one of the most idiotic retarded posts you ever made and you’ve made some doozies.

This is not a black white issue. This a disturbed individual who selfishly skipped school and went to a school event track meet and intentionally went to another schools tent to start trouble.

Both were Frisco ISD High Schools. Centennial and Memorial.

Why anyone wants to make excuses or turn this into some social issue is beyond me.

It’s one idiot who destroyed the life of a random person as well as his own because of some senseless violence. He picked the wrong state and will be tried as an adult. This is on him no one else.

That has become a major crippling crutch for this country. Trying to understand why the thug committed the atrocity instead of making examples of them.

Yep, it is Texas and Collin County is a world apart from Dallas County.

I'm curious what kind of knife the kid had. It's really hard to stab someone through the rib cage with a pocket knife.

That's not culture. It's insanity. And it's not peculiar to African Americans. Whites in many nations had dueling customs. At least both were armed and witnesses were present to make sure the duel was fair. When an armed man kills an unarmed one over a perceived slight it's just murder!

That’s simply not true.

I grew up with blacks and on the same side of town. Some are more aggressive than others by that’s person to person regardless of race.

Stop making excuses and start making individuals accountable.

That path of providing excuses and crutches is handicapping society

That's the number of Black males in America who will commit murder in their lifetime

That's approximately 1 in 22 Black men, vs. only 1 in 425 White men.

GROK AI analyses,

The statistics cited in the post come from the FBI’s National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) for 2021, a reliable source for crime data, suggesting the raw numbers are accurate.

The table shows Black males aged 15–64 committing murders at a rate of 95.5 per 100,000, compared to 5.2 for White males, aligning with historical FBI data trends showing higher homicide rates among Black males.

The lifetime murder rate of 4,508 per 100,000 for Black males (equating to 4.5%) is a projection based on 2021 data, not a direct measurement, so its accuracy depends on the assumption that rates remain constant over time.

The post’s claim of 1 in 22 Black men committing murder versus 1 in 425 White men simplifies the data; the actual lifetime rates (4,508 vs. 274 per 100,000) are more nuanced and reflect cumulative risk, not a guaranteed outcome.

NIBRS data has limitations: it only includes reported incidents, and not all agencies participate fully, potentially underrepresenting total murders.

The graph showing Black males reaching a 2.01% implication rate by age 25 is a reasonable extrapolation from NIBRS data, but it assumes consistent behavior across age groups, which may not hold true due to social, economic, or policy changes.

Critics on X, including @fentasyl
credited in the thread, have noted these stats exclude repeat offenders, meaning the 4.5% figure could be closer to 6% if adjusted, adding complexity to the accuracy.

Historical context: FBI data from 2019 shows Black individuals, who are 13% of the U.S. population, accounted for 55.9% of murder offenders, a trend consistent with the 2021 NIBRS data used here.

Socioeconomic factors often linked to crime rates, like poverty or education disparities, aren’t addressed in the post’s stats, which could affect how the numbers are interpreted.

Eye popping stats, 1 out of every 22 will kill.

Not conceding that this is true because I don't know, but it does sound reasonable.

If it is true, it seems to me that we ought to be addressing and changing any policies which contribute to this situation. Like paying benefits to unwed mothers for having babies.

Stop with the sensible solution scenarios, Owl. There is no place for that stuff anymore, now that this country has gone loco. Nobody wants to really solve anything, especially when there might be $$ to be made here, somewhere. I saw a TikTok video (imagine that) where a young unwed woman actually admitted that her 10 kids from 6 different baby daddies got her more and more $$. She said that is basically why she did it.

RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet
Family of Teen Murder Suspect Karmelo Anthony Plans to Use Portion of $400K in Donations for New Home and Private Security After ‘Racist Threats’

Quote:The family of 17-year-old murder suspect Karmelo Anthony revealed to use a portion of the $400,000 in online donations—originally raised for legal defense—to buy a new home and hire private security, citing “racist threats” they claim to have received following the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf, a 17-year-old student and beloved member of his high school’s football team.

The shocking revelation came during a court hearing in which Anthony’s bond was reduced from $1 million to $250,000 by Judge Angela Tucker of the 199th Judicial District Court, with only 10% required for his release.

With the donation pot overflowing, Anthony is expected to be released imminently, free to await trial from the comfort of his family’s home—soon to be a new one, thanks to donations from far-left sympathizers, activists, and others buying into the narrative of victimhood.

During a recent court hearing, Andrew Anthony, the teen’s father, admitted that the hefty sum raised for the legal defense fund would also fund their relocation and security measures, citing alleged “racist threats” after their address was leaked online, according to the Daily Mail.

Daily Mail reported:

During the hearing, prosecutors asked his father Andrew Anthony why he could not use the more than $415,000 in donated funds for his son’s defense to pay the original $1million bond, which was reduced to $250,000 on Monday.

Just 10 percent of that amount must be paid, meaning Anthony will likely be free very soon.

Andrew Anthony said the fund was to be used for Anthony’s legal defense. But he also disclosed that the cash would be used for security and to help the family move after the threats they have allegedly faced since the killing.

The revelation comes after a spokesperson for the family said they can’t leave their after their address was leaked online, leading to ‘graphic and racist threats,’ which included images of ‘black children with knives stuck in their head.’

Anthony’s attorney Michael Howard said, regarding the money: ‘It would be disingenuous to say there isn’t money… But it is not a bond fund. This family needs to be able to survive.’

The accused teen killer is expected to post bond later on Monday. He will have to wear an ankle monitor and won’t be able to leave his parents’ home without permission from Judge Angela Tucker.

At the time of this writing, the donation for Austin Metcalf’s family stands at $347,679, raised primarily through a GoFundMe page set up by his father, Jeff Metcalf.

For the suspect, Karmelo Anthony, the donation total is reported as $428,022, collected via a GiveSendGo fundraiser. This indicates that Karmelo’s family received at least $80,000 more than Anthony’s.

Austin Metcalf tragically died in his twin brother’s arms after being stabbed in the chest at a school track meet earlier this month. According to the arrest report, Anthony was sitting under another school’s tent when Metcalf asked him to move.

An altercation followed, and Anthony reportedly unzipped his bag, threatened Austin, and then stabbed him directly in the heart with a black knife.

Witnesses say Anthony fled the scene and was later arrested. His only explanation? “He put his hands on me. I was protecting myself.”

But here’s what’s not being said loudly enough: Anthony brought a knife to a high school track meet.

RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet
Just reading all the things on this incident..

Anthony skipped school to go to the track meet - Ok so he skipped school and went to a function. That's not a crime, I guess

Anthony then proceeded to go under a school's tent and sit. It was Texas and I imagine, not that big of a deal if he was invited, but doesn't appear he was.

Metcalf then asked him to move to which, he opened his bag and said "touch me and see what happens". So the whole "self defense" to me goes out the window. He came to a track meet with a knife, and I'm imagining a knife like the Marines have for fixing bayonets. He came expecting trouble or causing trouble.

Metcalf had actually participated in the meet and was awaiting the next event he was participating in, or that's what I've understood.

Scuffle occurred and Anthony stabs Metcalf. Runs and when apprehended, the cops state they have the alleged perp, and Anthony responded, it's not alleged I did it. Then after getting in the back of the car started asking about self defense.

Supposedly there's video of the incident.

I'm interested to see if it was and what actually happened.

I'm sure it's not that cut and dry, and Metcalf probably isn't as innocent as they say, but I'm sure Anthony wasn't just being an angel either.

The LEFT lost too much of their black male base in the last election due to their pro gay/trans agenda and the jobs situation. They are looking for and trying to create the next George Floyd situation and they need it before the mid terms next year. Any cause will do and this is the only one they have until they find something better and that's why the press is all over this.

The long and the short is a punk murdered another kid at a school function. End of story.

Can't buy it. Every guy, and occasionally a gal, that goes on a killing spree, does a mass shooting, and people of all races who commit a passionate homicide all claim to be angry, have anger issues, or lousy home lives growing up. Don't give a damn about the reason, just the crimes when other lives are taken. Heard the same about Italian men, Irish men, Puerto Rican men, Rural Poor White men, and a few women. Murder is murder. Privilege due to circumstance is a B.S. legal argument designed to appeal to emotion and not reason and isn't justice. We either equally enforce laws or live in anarchy. That's it.

Highly doubtful - but I will caveat that by saying that it depends on how much influence his parents actually have over him.

This is a sad case, and I want to discuss something I saw in the thread:

1. Paraphrasing "He had a knife, so he was looking for trouble." I conceal carry within the confines of the law. I am not looking for trouble. That being said, if he was carrying a weapon unlawfully and used the weapon unlawfully, does that make the charges against this man more significant?

Edit: I'm really asking and not trying to start sh$t

You don't get to murder someone just because they asked you to move.

You also don't get to murder someone just because you got into an argument and scuffle at school.

You also don't get to murder someone just because you are black and they are white.

When I was growing up back in the 70's, 80's and 90's, every knew those were basic, retard proof rules. Actually everyone knew that back in the 2000's as well.

Now in 2025 they are all up for debate.

Nice job progressives, what a wonderful world you have built for our children.

That was me.. I said it.

I carry a pocket knife on me, do I intend to stab anyone? No. When people ask me to do something I don't like do I grab it and say, touch me and see what happens? No. This kid came with a knife long enough to get to a kid's heart. But when confronted his first reaction was to open his bag, and say, Touch me see what happens. In my opinion, he went looking for trouble.

We're not talking about a Case pocket knife, we're talking about a knife he had to put in a bag to carry cause it probably wouldn't fit in his pocket.

he was carrying a weapon unlawfully and used the weapon unlawfully, does that make the charges against this man more significant? No but it does seem to me that his argument of "self defense" is out the window. He didn't try to reason with anyone and his first reaction when met with anyone questioning him was to grab the knife and say, do this and see what happens.
