Murder At Texas Track Meet - CrimsonPhantom - 04-05-2025 11:47 AM ![]() Quote:New infuriating details have emerged in the horrific murder of a gifted young Texas high school athlete who had his whole life ahead of him. Link RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet - fsquid - 04-05-2025 12:10 PM Young black men are angry and have no self control due to usually having no father figure. Not sure this is news except it happened in an upper class suburb? RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet - Kyle Mack - 04-05-2025 12:42 PM 4.5% That's the number of Black males in America who will commit murder in their lifetime That's approximately 1 in 22 Black men, vs. only 1 in 425 White men. GROK AI analyses, The statistics cited in the post come from the FBI’s National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) for 2021, a reliable source for crime data, suggesting the raw numbers are accurate. The table shows Black males aged 15–64 committing murders at a rate of 95.5 per 100,000, compared to 5.2 for White males, aligning with historical FBI data trends showing higher homicide rates among Black males. The lifetime murder rate of 4,508 per 100,000 for Black males (equating to 4.5%) is a projection based on 2021 data, not a direct measurement, so its accuracy depends on the assumption that rates remain constant over time. The post’s claim of 1 in 22 Black men committing murder versus 1 in 425 White men simplifies the data; the actual lifetime rates (4,508 vs. 274 per 100,000) are more nuanced and reflect cumulative risk, not a guaranteed outcome. NIBRS data has limitations: it only includes reported incidents, and not all agencies participate fully, potentially underrepresenting total murders. The graph showing Black males reaching a 2.01% implication rate by age 25 is a reasonable extrapolation from NIBRS data, but it assumes consistent behavior across age groups, which may not hold true due to social, economic, or policy changes. Critics on X, including @fentasyl credited in the thread, have noted these stats exclude repeat offenders, meaning the 4.5% figure could be closer to 6% if adjusted, adding complexity to the accuracy. Historical context: FBI data from 2019 shows Black individuals, who are 13% of the U.S. population, accounted for 55.9% of murder offenders, a trend consistent with the 2021 NIBRS data used here. Socioeconomic factors often linked to crime rates, like poverty or education disparities, aren’t addressed in the post’s stats, which could affect how the numbers are interpreted. At the same time some things would be burned down.

Not sure this is news except it happened in an upper class suburb? It is news because the murderer sat in the wrong tent on purpose, issued a threat to the people in the tent, and murdered another student who happened to be white. This was a carefully planned attack that ended up with 1st degree murder. I'm fairly sure the murderer's lawyer will use the issues in your first sentence to explain his client's actions to influence the jury. I will NOT be surprised if the murderer is given a lenient sentence because of his anger and lack of self control. The judge can shrug and explain to the victim's family "sh1t happens". The victim's family has to be outraged over this surreal turn of events. Not sure this is news except it happened in an upper class suburb? I'm tired of third party excuses. He murdered an unarmed kid at a public event. End of story. We can't deal with suppositions, asymmetrical comparisons, and race can't be a deciding factor if justice is blind. I don't care what your ethnicity, race, religion, or upbringing is. Did you commit a murder. If yes, you should be subject to the laws of that state. This nation was in a downward spiral and mostly due to ignoring law and making bullshat excuses for whatever aggrieved group committed a damn crime. No society can stand where that is permitted as it has one ending, civil war breaking out over inequitable enforcement of law. And no good citizen should want or embrace open upheaval because it is a fire that burns all. And any city official, law officer, or judge who makes exceptions should be fired or impeached. RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet - MemTigers1998 - 04-05-2025 09:57 PM This was in Texas so that black dude will have a needle in his arm in no time RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet - ODUsmitty - 04-05-2025 10:30 PM One that feels entitled did not accept that he was not. And an innocent kid gets killed because the entitled kid felt his needs and wishes above anyone else's. It is that simple. Put a very wide-gage needle in the most painful injection site and let justice be served. The kid alone is not responsible, nor are his parent(s). Obama started this entitlement crap, and the media pushed it to the outer limits. Most social behaviors are learned, not instinctual, and this kid thinking he had the right to occupy a space not for his own team, and willing to kill to defend his perceived "right" has been promoted and supported by the left and a complaint media. FAFO. Unfortunately, the kid that FA was not the one that FO. Equal justice to the crime is my best outcome, but I am sure the perp here will be treated with kid gloves. And you wonder why this country is on the verge of another civil war? Fools. Carrying a knife to a track meet? Lil' yum-yum trying to jump the shark. May the shark bite back hard. RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet - Eagleaidaholic - 04-06-2025 09:31 AM Wouldn't that be Capital Murder since he killed the kid in the process of committing another crime? Having a knife on school property. RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet - olliebaba - 04-06-2025 01:45 PM Who takes a knife to a track meet? Question answered. [/quote] Another thing, how can someone be so stupid to think that killing the person that was holding him back going to land him a position on the team that he cherished? That's like those idiots who kill their wives because they won't let them see the kids. What does that accomplish? Not a thing, he'll be in jail for a long time or it'll land him in the electric chair depriving him of EVER seeing his kids grow up even from a distance. Plus, they'll have their kids hating him until the end. But, emotions being the way they are, sometimes a person lets ol' beelzebub control them. It's hard, I've had to fight those demons too. RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet - olliebaba - 04-06-2025 01:56 PM After seeing the video it seems to me that the Black kid already had this action in mind, just by the fact that he TOOK the knife to the meet. Premeditated murder more like it. The dumb White boy pushed the Black kid not knowing that that's just what the Black kid was hoping would happen...and it did. His father is a true Christian, as a father AND a Christian I admit it would be hard for me to forgive something like that happening to one of my loved ones. I eventually think that I would forgive but it would take time as I would be consumed by hurt and yes, hate. God bless this man and his family. RE: Murder At Texas Track Meet - Thewavefan - 04-06-2025 02:43 PM Do you think the “I was being bullied by a white supremacist” defense is gonna work? If it were anywhere but Texas, it just might. |
