No surprise that Vegas and the NFL continually tell you that the best players play in the SEC. It doesn't mean that every SEC team is better than every team from other conferences but teams like Clemson and OSU get breathers that LSU and Alabama don't. Middle tier SEC teams still have NFL talent
And Clemson and OSU recruit just as good as Bama/LSU; it's just their competition makes it easier to get to the playoff.
Disagree. The SEC has become more competitive top tier teams while their mid to lower teams have fallen off since 2000s.
This really seems to have become the case in every conference not just the SEC. the SEC just has many more top tier teams.
LSU (5)- Always have the most raw NFL talent for whatever reason IMO and this was championship team
Alabama (4)- NFL factory under Saban
Georgia (2)- Kirby has been recruiting on par or very close to Bama. Need to switch their offensive scheme and they can compete year in and out with Bama.
Auburn (2)- Never will understand how they stay so competitive in the SEC. They seem to find the most underrated kids.
Florida (1)- Usually have more. I’d put them in SEC top 5 programs that have a chance to win title.
Texas A&M- Solid. Watch out
South Carolina (1)- Since Spurrier they have been trash who cares.
Arkansas had some killer teams in 2000s
Mississippi’s seemed to be way more talented in 2000s
Missouri meh
Tennessee meh
Vandy was respectable especially under Penn State’s Franklin. Now trash
Kentucky gon Kentucky
