Would not surprise me one bit.04-cheers

When Obama becomes a 1 termer, Trump will recruit Obama for Celebrity Apprentice. Alas, but by then he will have already been fired by the biggest landslide since Nixon, save for the black vote, whom will vote for him at 97%. The other 3% will be the rich Uncle Toms.

Yo Gote anymoore non cents.

OK, this is on topic: Employers are required to verify employment eligibility and, in the case of the office of the president, age eligibility. Why does Obama feel he's above the law? The law requires an "original or certified copy of a birth certificate." Where does it allow a cert of live birth? A certificate of live birth proves what? That he wasn't born dead?

I've had several jobs in the past that didn't require me to fill one of those out. Oh well.

not joining this portion of the debate, but you need similar docs for a drivers license. I'm betting you'd have to produce those if you wanted to get employed today.

I never had to produce those documents for my job before Obamacare. Now I do - because of the new health care laws.

Source?

And you don't have to produce ALL those documents, LOL

Employers have been required to verify your identify with Form I-9 before hiring you since 1986 (25 YEARS AGO!!!). This verification usually just requires your DL and a SS number. If they did not for some reason, they were breaking the law.

It's worse than the GOP trying to impeach Clinton for getting a little head in the WH. They'll do anything to get their power back, just to give us another GWB. Pretty pathetic. 05-stirthepot

Claw.. your job either wasn't following the rules previously, or you changed jobs. That has nothing to do with Obamacare. Where the hell did you get that idea from? That's just so wrong.. I don't even understand how you could believe that.

Absolutely! But there are so many issues of substance where the issue of trust can be pressed ("If you like your health care plan you can keep it"), why press one that involves conspiracy theory?

Disclaimer: I refuse to believe almost any conspiracy theories involving our government. There is way too much incompetence and glory-seeking in DC for any large group of non-military/security people to keep a juicy secret for an extended period of time.

In The Donald's world, any publicity is good publicity. He's a narcissist of the highest order AND his name is a brand that, like it or not, has real value when attached to certain products. I'm not even sure he wants to be president but whether he does or doesn't, running a campaign will enrich him (as long as he doesn't win).

Your disclaimer sums this up as well as it can be. Seriously.. how in the world would Republicans not have made this an issue if it was legitimate. That alone should be all you need to know. They tried to impeach a guy for getting a blow job. You think they wouldn't have him out of office if he wasn't a real citizen.

How do people not take a step back and realize just how a big a conspiracy this would involve, and how ludicrous it all sounds?

Funny how their straw-man argument has really moved from citizenship issues to something else he is hiding like the ludicrous idea that his birth certificate shows his religion (as Muslim) or whatever cockamamie idea now being floated.

Also makes me laugh that so many are willing to accept and run off on these wild tangents but those same folks seemed to go into convulsions at the mere suggestion that Bush may have manipluated things to get us into Iraq.

The thinking on this is that McCain was a wuss for not pursuing it. Since McCain is a wuss, it isn't a difficult pill to swallow.

I wish the debate would turn away from "he's not eligible to be president" and simply to a... while honest people can debate specifically what "transparency" is, and what "keeping your healthcare option" mean, when someone won't release something as simple and harmless as hs *** Laude/Law Review grades, you have to question what he is hiding in those more complex questions.

I just don't buy that he has nothing to hide in his healthcare bill, but he has to hide his Harvard grades

Claw.. if you really believe that you're just a fool. Not only that, even if it was true, you do realize someone else than McCain can do something about it.

If the GOP is that weak that they knew the president of the United States was not an American citizen and didn't pursue it, they don't deserve to have any position of power anyways.

While the Birther's are busy with their little conspiracy theories...the real conspiracy is being pulled off against the American citizens by the thieves that inhabit the hollowed halls of Congress. Keep on concentrating on imaginary problems while the real problems swallow nation. Good work!04-bow

You really don't know much, do you? CB, Clinton was not impeached for his infidelity to his wife. It was his infidelity to his country that will dog him the rest of his life and forever after. He lied under oath to congress. He committed perjury. Was impeached by congress, put on trial in the senate, and disbarred from ever testifying in a courtroom, or practicing law.
