You can do whatever you want. Go ahead and recommend we drop football. Do so because our football history is terrible or for whatever reason you want. IMO, a true fan wouldn't do that.

ksu - I have never attacked anyone until I was personally attacked today. If people take my opinions as personal attacks I am truly sorry, but I cannot control other peoples feelings and sensitivity. If me calling a thread dumb has personally offended people to where they want to leave, I think they are being a little overly sensitive. Lord knows, I have threads I post that get ZERO replies. And if someone wanted to laugh at me for that, I imagine I would probably laugh at myself too! I was obviously kidding about the mac pick 'em, as that doesn't really mean squat, although I do congratulate you for your championship in 2010.

For those who believe that dropping FB to FCS, I am afraid that you are wrong. It has been shown that to be competitive at that level, it is just as expensive as playing at the FBS division. That is why larger schools like Kent would be in the FCS are looking to get to FBS status. FB is expensive at any level. It seems kind of silly to have a KSU with its nearly 40000 students, playing a school with 2500 students. That would be a possibility if we drop to FCS. We either play where we should or get off the pot. To me, it is FBS or nothing and I am a much bigger BB fan than FB. We just need for our excellence in action campaign to carry over into FB.

Geez I didn't know that people laugh at me when I start a thread and nobody responds. 50% of my threads are like that. You must all be rolling in the aisles.

You know its really funny before I went to Kent I cared little to near nothing for football except during bowl season if Florida was in a bowl (family treats bowl games as a big deal for Florida since they had none when they were there) and I had 0% knowledge or caring of watching basketball. If it was not for Kent I would not care about basketball. If it was not for the band program I would not care a whit about athletics. But due to these I care now and I am very proud to be from KSU. I am happy to talk to other KSU fans and I understand why there is some elevated levels of anger right now. We all need to take a step back, not care who is right or wrong, and take our anger out on something else that is not us. I recommend finding a kangaroo, I hear they are worth less than dirt and smell bad.

Some things, we do know. We are going to be a FBS football program. We even have a coach!
