Quote:ATLANTA, Ga. — Fulton County officials admitted they did not properly sign tabulator tapes after the 2020 election, a violation of state regulations.

The county also noted it had misplaced other tabulator tapes and documents related to the controversial election.

The admission was made by county attorney Ann Brumbaugh during a Dec. 9 meeting of the Georgia Elections Board.

Tabulator tapes are essentially receipts printed from ballot tabulation machines that help to verify the number of voters matches the number of votes. They are a key piece of the verification and certification process in every county election across the state.

Georgia law states that a poll manager and two witnesses be present for the printing, checking and signing of each tape from the machines.

“We do not dispute that the tapes were not signed, it was a violation of the rule,” said county attorney Ann Brumbaugh. “It’s a violation of a rule, they should have done it.”

Brumbaugh said since the 2020 vote, the county has made significant changes to ensure it didn’t happen again.

“Procedures have been updated, people are taking this very seriously now,” she said. “Since then the training has been enhanced, the poll watchers are trained specifically, they’ve got to sign the tapes in the morning and they’ve got to sign the tapes when they’re run at the end of the day.”

Over 300,000 ballots in Fulton County were included in the count without proper signature verification.

That means those 300,000+ ballots are void and should not have been included in the total vote count.

Fulton County's defense? "People are taking this very seriously now." We won't do it again.

Your article is nearly a year old.

And we've covered this time and time again. NO! This in no way means those ballots are "void" or should not count. That's not how any of this works.

Additionally, the signature requirements were a procedural election rule, not a state "law."

But yes, they should have been signed, and Georgia has implemented more checks and this has not been an issue since. 07-coffee3

trump still lost Georgia, and 2020, bigly.

They can not count if there is no chain of custody as to who and how they got into the system, dumbazz. You are admitting the election wasnt secure.

Since I can't see any msgs from Tom unless he's quoted...

Quote:Your article is nearly a year old.

No crap, sherlock. It's still evidence that Fulton County's results were invalid.

Interestingly, GA flipped in 2020...

https://www.cnn.com/election/2020/results/president

Biden* 49.5% 2,473,633
Trump 49.2% 2,461,854
Difference 11,779

Way fewer that 315,000.

And don't forget GA had TWO senate elections because they had a special election. And both of those flipped.

https://www.cnn.com/election/2020/results/senate

Ossoff - D 50.6% 2,269,923
Perdue (I) - R 49.4% 2,214,979
Difference 54,944

Way fewer that 315,000.

Special Senate Election
Warnock - D 51.0% 2,289,113
Loeffler (I) - R 49.0% 2,195,841
Difference 166,930

Way fewer that 315,000.

And those 2 flipped seats made the Senate 50/50 that year with Harris being the tie-breaker.

And the number of Fulton County votes?
POTUS - 517,459 || 72.6% Dem
Senate - 488,759 || 71.7% Dem
Special Senate - 488,743 || 72.5% Dem

Throw out 315,000 EARLY ballots and those 3 races change -- as well as the make-up of the Senate.

And as for your comment about Illinois. You didn't provide any link, but I found one for that exact comment on a random website, not any reputable source. And their supporting link takes you to a web page for something from 2024/2026 in British Columbia, Canada 03-rotfl

You got a better source for that?

Much as you would like to, you didn't say that it was incorrect. You don't really care where something came from LeftwingTom. You only care if it fits your narrative and beliefs. Sources for your posts have never been a concern for you, and you have posted comments from plenty of doozies.

You're the guy that has repeatedly posted that there hasn't been any voter fraud in our elections. Then, when confronted with facts that showed otherwise, you moved the goalpost by claiming that it was never enough to change an election. That's akin to stating that no terrorist came across our border along with the millions of illegals during the past failed administration (Biden), or at least not enough to do significant damage.

All Republicans want is for elections to be accurate, and only for our own citizens - those that are legal, living, and eligible to vote in the states that they reside in. We don't want illegals, dead people, people voting multiple times in different states, or people that are underage or otherwise ineligible to vote casting a ballot. We want an approved, pictured, current, voter ID to prove you are who you say you are to vote. We don't want ballot harvesters going to get mail in ballots from people that don't even know who they are themselves and have them sign a ballot that the harvester filled out. You and the rest of your ilk don't want that, and we all know exactly why you don't.

WTF are you babbling about? Of course there are configuration errors. I've mentioned them many times...and they're usually ALWAYS done by a human not properly using the machine as designed.

And I'm not going to comment on some instance where you can't even provide any credible information on what actually happened.

And I provide sources for my information all the time and welcome any credible information to the contrary. Sadly for you and your ilk, I rarely get it. And I have ZERO problem admitting if I get something wrong. I do it when it happens with no hesitation.

And FFS, I NEVER ONCE have said there has not been fraud in our elections. I am 99.9% confident that there has likely been fraud in every damned election in our history. Now what I have actually repeatedly posted is that the fraud is almost always not material to change any outcomes. It's a miniscule problem. Are you ever going to get that right, or are you just going to continue to dishonestly distort what I have actually said? 04-chairshot

And I, and every liberal and democrat I know want the exact same thing you mentioned...

"...for elections to be accurate, and only for our own citizens - those that are legal, living, and eligible to vote in the states that they reside in. We don't want illegals, dead people, people voting multiple times in different states, or people that are underage or otherwise ineligible to vote casting a ballot."

And I have always been in favor of Voter ID. What I am NOT in favor of is Republican attempts to institute ID that will end up disenfranchising voters...which in their attempts are almost always minorities. Which is not usually a bug, but a feature.

I favor a national voter registry with citizens getting an ID card/number the moment they are born or become legal citizens. I just want this at no direct cost to them.

Please stop misrepresenting my positions...ones that I've held for many years and have posted here many times over.

Now, do you have an actual credible report about that Illinois issue you brought up? If you do, I will happily review it and if I'm wrong about a dominion machine, I'll gladly admit that. 07-coffee3

LeftwingTom and his typical post. You can't even own up to which party you support.

2. No, that's not how that's ever handled.

AGAIN, you don't throw out ALL the legitimately cast ballots...disenfranchising 300,000 voters...over a ******* clerical oversight of a procedure! You also don't have a full re-vote.

Instead, you performs multiple audits. Which they did, and those confirmed, again, that trump lost in 2020, bigly. 07-coffee3

There is no such thing as disenfranchised voters.

That's just an excuse leftists like Tom pull out of their a** when they refuse to comply with state election laws.

AGAIN, I don't support EITHER party. I completely object to our current two-party entrenched system. It's why our federal government is so inefficient. And I've explained this many many times now.

Lastly, I'm a left-side liberal. So of course, most of my votes will be for Democrats. That in no way means I support their party. The problem, again, is that there's rarely if ever a third option and it's very hard to vote for most Republicans. That being said, I vote for a Republican in most every election...they're just usually at more of a local level. The last high-profile Republican I voted for was Snyder for governor of Michigan the election before Whitmer came along. 07-coffee3

We know hate Republicans, Tom.

You have made that loud and f***ing clear on here.

But, by voting for Democrats, even though you claim to not support them, you still show your support by voting them into office.

Ridiculous. I care in that all those idiots would have had to do was follow their procedures and sign the ******* tapes they verified.

And no, I'm not "clearly wrong here."

And I won't apologize for applying critical thinking skill.

No signature on the tapes doesn't prove anything for or against fraud. The multiple audits do however. They prove the tapes match the ballots to a reasonable certainty, thereby affirming the result that trump lost the state.

If things were reversed, I'd say the exact same thing. 07-coffee3

The law specifically states that if ANY of the criteria for mail in ballots are not followed the ballot is rejected. Again, it is pretty simple. I posted the verbiage from the law earlier. So yes, they are to be thrown out, because they are not valid ballots.

Yeah, that's not what ANY Georgia law says.

Even if it did, NO court would uphold that in the inevitable lawsuit filed by hundreds of thousands of legitimate voters.

It's a State Election Board rule, not a law passed by the state legislature. The penalties for breaking it are on the county and perhaps the individuals who did not follow the rule, NOT the voter! And the penalty is a monetary one, not a criminal one.

Quote:"The basis for these claims is that Fulton County admitted to sloppy election administration and not following a State Election Board rule," Sinners said in an email. "There is no mechanism in law to overturn the election based on not following this rule – as it wasn’t even part of the election code – it was a procedural rule." ~ Robert Sinners, Communications director for the Secretary of State's Office

Tom, you keep repeating the same thing over and over as though it is fact. The LAW specifically states the elector MUST sign the ballot oath. You are wrong. Here is the LAW that was in effect during the 2020 election and going forward. This has been the LAW for years in Georgia.
https://law.justia.com/codes/georgia/201...-21-2-386/
"© If the elector has failed to sign the oath, or if the signature does not appear to be valid, or if the elector has failed to furnish required information or information so furnished does not conform with that on file in the registrar's or clerk's office, or if the elector is otherwise found disqualified to vote, the registrar or clerk shall write across the face of the envelope "Rejected," giving the reason therefor. The board of registrars or absentee ballot clerk shall promptly notify the elector of such rejection, a copy of which notification shall be retained in the files of the board of registrars or absentee ballot clerk for at least two years. Such elector shall have until the end of the period for verifying provisional ballots contained in subsection © of Code Section 21-2-419 to cure the problem resulting in the rejection of the ballot. The elector may cure a failure to sign the oath, an invalid signature, or missing information by submitting an affidavit to the board of registrars or absentee ballot clerk along with a copy of one of the forms of identification enumerated in subsection © of Code Section 21-2-417 before the close of such period. The affidavit shall affirm that the ballot was submitted by the elector, is the elector's ballot, and that the elector is registered and qualified to vote in the primary, election, or runoff in question. If the board of registrars or absentee ballot clerk finds the affidavit and identification to be sufficient, the absentee ballot shall be counted."
Georgia DID NOT follow the LAW during the 2020 election for unsigned ballots. Saying the 'recount' was correct is irrelevant because there were over 300,000 ballots that SHOULD NOT have been counted or re-counted because they should have been REJECTED by law and not by whatever the coward Raffenburger 'rule' said was in place. Again Tom, you are wrong, and Raffenburger was/is wrong. The law is very cut and dry.

You do know that the tabulator tape they are discussing has nothing to do with the voter signing the ballot, right?

Apparently, he doesn't.

It is unfathomable that they still have no idea about any of this when this was all brought to light almost 6 years ago now. 04-drinky

FFS, many of them still think someone put fake ballots in a suitcase and hid them under a table! 03-lmfao

oh, look who decided to show his face back in here. Has your ai chatbot stopped crying yet from your flailing earlier in the week.

What does this have to do with you apparently still having no clue how any of this works?

You could have just as easily confirmed the fact presented by Elvis and politely told Eagle he was mistaken...as you clearly know that. But instead, you just opted to be your usual local dishonest troll self. Sad.

Phony Dominion pretext
Fox News paid 787 million dollars to Dominion for unsubstantiated slanders like this.
(A headline you might have missed if you were depending on Fox News to share it.)

He’s trying to create a false sense of crisis again so he can do this again.

Stay in your lane, Elvis. Tom doesn't need your help. He is flailing on his own. He has stated multiple times signatures on mail-in ballots aren't law, they are merely an election rule that can be broken at will.

Fine, continue making yourself look stupid with posts completely irrelevant to the discussion. Have at it.
