BREAKING: Georgia Election Board Asks Trump DOJ to Declare Statewide Dominion QR-Code Machines UNLAWFUL Before Midterms — Demands Six-Month Phase-Out as Raffensperger Stonewalls

Quote:Georgia’s Republican-controlled State Election Board has formally invited the Trump Department of Justice to step in and shut down the Peach State’s unverifiable, QR-code voting system before voters start casting ballots in the 2026 midterms.

In a September 30 letter to Attorney General Todd Blanche, State Election Board Executive Director James Mills asked the DOJ to prohibit the use of “unreadable, unverifiable QR-code-based vote tabulation and any other electronic tabulation method that does not permit the voter to verify the vote that is actually counted,” concerning Georgia’s Dominion voting system, now owned by Liberty Vote USA.

RE: Georgia Election Board wants Dominion machines GONE - Redwingtom - 10-02-2026 11:08 AM

There appears to be a lot more going on here...and it seems like this has been a failure by the GOP led state government.

They passed a law in 2024 that ended the QR style of vote counting as of July 1, 2026. But they failed to find an alternative before the deadline and decided to kick the can down the road until 2028.

And now, a month before the election they want to try and shut down the whole process? And replace it with what?

They've used this process for a few years and other than trump lying about it, has seemingly been just fine...as the audits in 2020 showed.

The Georgia legislature needs to get their **** together.

Here's an explainer:
A last-minute change to Georgia’s ballot QR code bill could steer voting in a new direction - State lawmakers failed to fund a switch from QR codes.

Moving to anything else is probably less accurate when tabulated.

What they have worked, and was recounted by hand like three times.

If you were cheating it and printing one thing human readable and something else in the QR code it would be caught in the risk limiting audit during certification.

This is political grandstanding to cozy up into Donald’s diaper and it’s going to cost GA taxpayers money.

Exactly.

They're still wanting to go back decades to humans counting by hand all the votes on paper ballots. While the same time they scream for quickness and more accuracy.

It's a known fact that humans count slower and make more mistakes.

That's why you hire as many people as you need and bring in as much oversight as possible.

It's really not that hard.

Are you talking about the GA recount that wasnt a single recount but 3 recounts where the numbers never matched, Trump always seemed to gain votes, and they were still missing 20,000 votes so they just rescanned an already scanned batch to make up the difference?

Are you talking about the dominion machines that they swore to us werent connected to the internet until the former dominion guy testified under oath in a deposition that they were, and that foreigners could get into the machines during the election?

Are you talking about the GA recount that wasnt a single recount but 3 recounts where the numbers never matched, Trump always seemed to gain votes, and they were still missing 20,000 votes so they just rescanned an already scanned batch to make up the difference?

Are you talking about the dominion machines that they swore to us werent connected to the internet until the former dominion guy testified under oath in a deposition that they were, and that foreigners could get into the machines during the election?

Here is a breakdown of the facts regarding both of these claims based on official investigations, court records, and extensive fact-checking.

Claim 1: The Georgia recount involved numbers that never matched, missing votes, and rescanned batches to make up a 20,000 difference.
  • The Three Counts: Georgia did conduct three separate tallies of the 2020 presidential election: the initial machine tabulation, a hand-counted risk-limiting audit, and a requested machine recount. It is standard for large-scale recounts to have slight variations in the final numbers, but all three counts produced similar tallies that confirmed Joe Biden's victory in the state by a margin of 11,779 votes.
  • The Rescanned Batches: The claim about "rescanning batches to make up a difference" stems from a real, but misrepresented, tabulation error. In 2024, state investigators found that there were 3,075 duplicate ballot images (not 20,000 votes) in Fulton County from the machine recount. Investigators explained that during tabulation, an error required some physical ballots to be rescanned. Election workers likely deleted the first scan's vote results but failed to delete the digital images from the first scan.
  • The Impact: State investigators and the Secretary of State's office concluded that these duplicate ballot images were not counted twice in the actual vote tally. Furthermore, comparing the initial results with the machine recount, there were actually 880 fewer total votes counted in the recount. State officials have repeatedly affirmed there was no widespread fraud or missing thousands of votes.

Claim 2: A former Dominion employee testified under oath that machines were connected to the internet and accessible to foreigners during the election.
  • The Security of the Machines: The Department of Homeland Security's cybersecurity agency (CISA), alongside state election officials, issued a joint statement following the 2020 election confirming there was "no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes or was in any way compromised".
  • The "Dominion Guy": This claim references Eric Coomer, the former director of product strategy and security for Dominion. Coomer has consistently denied allegations of rigging the election under oath and has filed multiple defamation lawsuits against individuals and networks who spread these rumors.
  • The Deposition & "Admissions": Recent claims circulating on alternative media blogs assert that Coomer's recent court admissions or patent filings prove the machines were open to foreign interaction. However, courts have repeatedly reviewed these claims and found them baseless. Accusations that Dominion's software was intentionally designed to be vulnerable to foreign hacking were a central part of the massive defamation lawsuits brought by the company.
  • The Legal Conclusion: In 2023, Fox News agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems $787.5 million to settle its defamation lawsuit. As part of the settlement, Fox acknowledged the court's rulings that the claims broadcast about Dominion—which included allegations that their machines were manipulated by foreign agents—were false.

Verdict : Your argument is dumb and Fox News had to pay someone 3/4 of a billion dollars for making the same one.

Except that the dominion owner has now stated in a deposition that foreigners could and did get into the machines, because they were "subcontractors". So Fox paid on something dominion now admits to.

The claim that a Dominion executive recently testified in a deposition that foreign subcontractors had access to their machines is part of an ongoing narrative pushed by alternative media outlets.

Here is a fact check of this specific claim:

The Deposition in Question:
The deposition often cited in these claims involves Eric Coomer, the former director of product strategy and security for Dominion Voting Systems. Coomer has been embroiled in multiple defamation lawsuits, both as a plaintiff and occasionally being deposed in relation to other election cases (such as those in Colorado).

The Claims About Subcontractors and Foreign Access:
Recent alternative media reports have pointed to court filings or patents (specifically U.S. Patent No. 9,202,113, which describes an adjudication system architecture) to claim that Coomer "admitted" the machines were networked or vulnerable to foreign interference.

However, there is no official, legal, or court-verified record of a Dominion executive, including Coomer, admitting under oath that "foreigners could and did get into the machines" as subcontractors during the 2020 election. The assertions often stem from misinterpretations of technical patents or taking deposition statements about software architecture out of context to imply malicious foreign interference, a leap that courts have not validated.

The Fox News Settlement:
The suggestion that Fox News "paid on something Dominion now admits to" is inaccurate. Fox News settled its defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787.5 million in April 2023. At the time of the settlement, Fox released a statement acknowledging the court's rulings that certain claims they broadcast about Dominion were false. There has been no subsequent admission by Dominion that would retroactively validate the specific claims of a rigged election or malicious foreign interference via their machines.

It is always a good idea to check official sources and court documents for the most accurate information on these ongoing legal disputes.

Verdict : Thou argument is still dumb.

They havent been paying attention to the current defamation lawsuit. Very nasty revelations have come out of that.

Also, Elvii has swallowed the taint. He now admits that there were 3 recounts. Anyone with a sense of intelligence would wonder why. What he hasnt done is accepted the fact that there were 3 recounts because they could not reconcile to the final original vote, and that they rescanned an already scanned batch to get the numbers closer.

All confirmed by emails that were subpoaened.

And we havent even begun to bring up is the hundreds of thousands of non-folded mail in ballots or missing chain of custody documents which are required by law to prove the election was safe and secure.

What?

The board is made up of 5 members. A chair elected by the general assembly. The GA is controlled by the GOP. One member is elected from the senate. Again, controlled by the GOP. One member is elected from the house. AGAIN, controlled by the senate. The last two members are one from each major political party.

So the current makeup of the board has a 4-1 GOP majority. 3-2 majority at worst.

- John Fervier - Chair elected by GOP led GA
- Sara Tindall Ghazal - Democrat party appointee
- Carolyn Roddy - Republican party appointee
- Salleigh Grubbs - Vice chair of GA GOP, appointed by GOP Lt. Governor being a replacement to a departed selection from the GOP led GA Senate.
- Janelle King - Republican activist selected by GOP led GA House.

Further:

Quote:ATLANTA – Two Republicans on Georgia's state election board Thursday criticized a proposal by their own party to address a flaw in Georgia’s voting equipment that can allow voters to be matched to their ballots after they have been cast.

Janelle King, one of four Republicans on the five-member board, said during a meeting Thursday that such a requirement would impose new burdens on county election officials, including possibly having to hire additional poll workers. She also raised concerns about ballots falling out during the shuffling process and then going uncounted.

“I just have some major concerns about whether or not we are creating more problems while we are trying to address a problem that is an important issue,” she said.

Carolyn Roddy, who was appointed to the election board by the Republican Party, said she had previously opposed a similar proposal and did not see any reason to change her position.

She called the risk of coercion by family members or bosses a “small thing” that she didn’t think would affect the outcome of an election. The RNC proposal “does more harm than good,” she said, noting it would go into effect just days before early voting was set to begin.
Georgia election board will not immediately move ahead with GOP plan to fix flaw in election system

The SOS is also lead by a Republican, Brad Raffensperger, who was elected for a second term in 2022. He is not running again, so a new SOS will be elected in November. Raffensperger ran for governor but finished a distant 3rd with only 15% of the vote.

Finally, no, the Dominion Machines have NOT been "unlawful the whole time!"

A dominion sister machine did just that in New Hampshire. Across every single election.
