Without that one lone bomber...which investigations showed there was no way we could have prevented that...none of them would have said hardly a word about the withdrawal. And they would have likely praised trump for his plan to get us out.

There were people hanging from airplanes. Only a fool would give up the base prior to a full withdrawal and then try to do it from a public airport. Trump had nothing to do with that.

Oh wait... They'll go back to the claim that Trump negotiated pull out and because Biden botched it, it's Trump's fault.

Nothing that happened from 2008- Nov 2016 was Barrack Obama's fault, it was W's.

Anything from Nov 2016-present, it's Trump's fault.

Must be nice to support a party that doesn't make mistakes especially when the buck stops with them.

RE: AAA - Gas Hits $4
A good example of how fast fuel prices can change based on the market. I was in another part of town I pass everyday this morning. Earlier in the week fuel was at $3.79. Last night on the way home it was at a clean $4.00. I needed gas so I pulled over to fill up. I pre-paid to fill up at $4.00/gal. When I started the pump it listed the price at $3.75. Oil is down to $90/bbl right now. I expect it to go even lower before the week end.

Prices always go up way faster than they go down due to economics. No matter what a lib tries to tell you. They can't seem to figure out that even though oil has decreased, the gas in the pump was purchased at the higher price therefore is sold at the higher price. My guess is most of them never took an economics class.

They did probably take economics classes. From the same educational institutions that gave AOC a degree. And they take continuing education classes every day on Reddit.

And WTF is he even talking about? I've not seen one poster here of any background claim or believe that prices go down faster than they go up. Everyone knows this. We've seen it with our very own eyes every day/week/month/year of our lives.

Has Trump never taken an econ class, because over and over again he says gas prices will drop rapidly the second this ends even though you and I know they won't drop anywhere close to as fast as they went up.

I chuckled at this. Dude who has a couple of hundred in student loans is trying to tell us how he knows economics and how the guy that just put my 401K's and retirement accounts into nosebleed territory doesnt.

BonBon is to economics as TomTon is to insurance deductibles.

I'm pretty sure I just gave an example of fuel prices dropping $0.25/gal overnight. Again. Competition will determine fuel prices. Prices rose overnight and I can just about guarantee the fuel in gas station tanks were made from oil that was refined 3 months ago. They are now basing pump prices on the price/bbl of oil, not what the fuel cost to put in the tanks of the gas stations. Oil companies get their retail money immediately to make up for when oil prices decrease and the refined fuel from the higher priced oil gets sold.

I mentioned this earlier. I was sitting at a traffic light a couple of weeks ago, and saw the price change from $4.04 a gallon to $3.69.

That's 35 cents, for those who can't math.

The sign still said $4.00.

It can and will go down some quickly, but I will guarantee you it takes multiple times as long for it to get back down to pre-war prices than it took for them to rise. Trump is very much trying to trick dummies that prices can and will go back down to where they were on a similar timeline to how quickly they rose, and that's stupid as hell.

It has taken two months to get to where it is now. Are you saying it will take longer than 2 months to decrease. I don't believe that for one second. There will be a price war when/if oil prices get back in the $70s, which will happen when all of the pent-up supply starts hitting the market.

Ok Friedman, explain how gas prices will go down as fast as they went up like Trump is saying. Go ahead.

Yes, I am 100% saying it will take multiple times longer for gas to get back down to where it was February 27th than however long the strait ends up being closed for.

Yeah, I don't think Trump even believes his line about it falling quickly. He backtracked when challenged by Liz Landers and said it may or may not drop quickly.

Quote:Liz Landers: You have talked about gas prices, and you've said that you think that gas prices will drop like a rock–

President Donald Trump: Way down.

Liz Landers: When this is over.

President Donald Trump: Well, we have 1,000 boats that are loaded up with oil that can't, you know, go anywhere. So, when that– It's gonna be a, it's gonna be an oil rush.

Liz Landers: Historically, though, in these kinds of conflicts, the price of gas skyrockets quickly, and then it takes a while for them to come down. Why do you think that this would be different?

President Donald Trump: Well, I mean, that may happen but it may also come down. Nobody really knows. Look, I predicted, a lot of people predicted, I predicted, what, exactly what happened, actually. But a lot of people predicted, you know, that oil is gonna go up to $300, $350 [a barrel]. Well, it said $100 right now.

You are going to be wrong. We will see. It is a supply and demand issue. When the oil starts flowing again in the ME, the US oil companies won't be exporting as much oil as they are now. Remember we are exporting more oil now than ever in the history of the country. This is due mainly to the influx of Venezuelan oil. We will see a decline this weekend if oil keeps trading around $90/bbl through tomorrow. It will change that quick. These doom peddler Leftist oil "experts" are just barking propaganda. WTI was trading at just under $107/bbl 3 days ago. It is currently trading at $91/bbl.

Who's this made up lib you're conjuring up in your imagination?

And WTF is he even talking about? I've not seen one poster here of any background claim or believe that prices go down faster than they go up. Everyone knows this. We've seen it with our very own eyes every day/week/month/year of our lives.

Geebus, you guys do know there are more people outside of this message board, right? We hear it everytime gas prices increase, we hear that "prices go up fast, but decrease slowly" primarily due to greedy owners, etc. If you say you've never heard it before, you are not telling the truth.
