It's been all over the map farther south in Michigan. I've seen it anywhere from $4.19 to $3.32 in a 50 mile radius.

$4.19 was the highest I've seen to far, but that was at 6 am this morning so it might have fallen today.

Regardless, it's still not going to be a quick decent back down to $3/gallon.

You don't have to "care" about it. But you DO...if you're making accurate comparisons and looking at trends and the overall economic situation of it...HAVE to use it. And the "self-inflicted state taxes" were in place before the war as well. So they're irrelevant here in this discussion.
