At Baylor Tuesday and then a big series in Arlington beginning Thursday.

I can't say that we have been doing too bad. We beat SFA on Wed. 9-4, then McNeese the first two games before losing the third today by one in Lake Charles.

There are 308 Division I baseball programs. UVU's ranking shows they played a really weak non-con schedule. The remaining WAC teams really need to beat up on the Wolverines to avoid a complete tank in the rankings. Overall, there are still some good mid-week opportunities for the WAC to keep improving and moving up, including UVU.

I was a little shocked at our win against TCU yesterday evening. We fell to them 6-7 in FW on March 3rd, but rebounded in Abilene 4-1. We needed that after only winning 1 out of 3 against CBU. Up next will be a tough road series against Tarleton.

I was at the TCU game and was surprised how ineffective they were.

I have been wondering. The Flying Bison announced earlier that they are moving to Crutcher Scott Field/Bullock Bros Ballpark, starting this season. I think it's a great decision and a much better venue than McMurry. Since this is a City based team though, would that include beer sales? The Abilene Prairie Dogs used to play at ACU as well. Did they sell beer at those games?

Outsider, the Prairie Dogs did not sell beer at their games when playing at ACU. They said one of the reasons they left and eventually folded was because "we can't sell beer at ACU." However, their biggest problem was management/ownership and/or the lack thereof.

They did not sell beer at McMurry, though there were some street parties before games I read somewhere. As far I as I know, they will not be able to sell beer playing at ACU either. Whether street parties are a thing, I guess we will wait and see.
