I would think you guys should be feeling pretty good so far this season. You are on a 5 game win streak even though you haven't hit the meat of your schedule.

It was nice getting to play spoiler to UTSA but we're trying not to get too excited. Haven't really played anyone besides them yet and Baylor absolutely embarrassed us. Hoping we can continue to produce vs stronger opponents but we'll probably get exposed.

Cats lose the 1st of three with Rice, 4-5. Hopefully we can pull together some better offense this weekend against them.

mavs win 4-3 over UL- monroe after they had tied it up in the top of the 9th. we have one really good starter and when he leaves the game all bets are off.

Cats pull ahead by one to only lose it in the 9th. Can they at least win one game against Rice?

Tarleton takes two from New Mexico today, 7-3 & 15-10.

Tarleton defeats New Mexico today 9-7 and sweeps UNM in Albuquerque.

Did we wear rice down or did they give us some mercy? Either way, we finally won the 3rd game 4-1. Currently sitting at 8-8 and not sure what to think of this team. We have played some decent teams, but no one that we shouldn't have at least 2-3 more wins over-all.

We should have swept Rice but each game was unnaturally weird. Finally, today we beat them 4-1. Baseball is a funny game.

At the baseball dinner launching the season our coach explained our schedule and mentioned that Baylor refuses to play us. After beating them down three times in a row they just will not agree to play us anymore.

It's going to be tough sledding for baseball in the BW. I don't doubt Coach Christiansen is up for the challenge, but I think FB and hoops will be getting all the financial attention/support. We'll see how it goes, recruiting needs to get better if we want to be competitive in the BW.
