No, he didn't. Again, you need better facts.

Here’s how a Biden ad that featured Arlington National Cemetery differs from a trump campaign effort

And before you get your panties in a wad. This is not endorsing the Biden ad. Just factually stating that they are not the same thing. Nobody was shoved, a disclaimer was added, and no names on headstones were shown. And most importantly, Biden was not smiling like a POS with a thumb sticking up in the air!

Please keep this thread going. I'm sure there are some people out there that didnt know that Kamala said she was in charge of the pullout and comfortable with that. Also, they probably dont know Kamala has never met or called the families. An NBC reporter was just busted for saying she was there when the bodies arrived. (You know, when Biden* was checking his watch)

The rule is you can't use video for a political campaign, Style points don't count.

So...same damn thing.

P.S. I don't wear panties. That's your thing. I go commando.

Per her, "last person in the room." And she bragged about it until people died.
and said she was comfortable making those decisions. you would think horses ass, being "military", would hold that against her. Which is why I doubt he was military.

I find it interesting that the same people who criticized GWB's service in the National Guard want to portray Walz as some kind of war hero for his.

Both were cowards. One going Natural Guard to avoid Vietnam. The other basically quitting to avoid being deployed.

We are where are in society because we select leaders who lead from the rear.

Have you served, Blue?

For the record I applaud and respect both Bush and Walz for their service. Maybe a tad more so for Walz since he entered in the volunteer era. And I dint begrudgingly a 20+ year vet from resigning, especially as the record is clear he was engaged in a campaign fir Congress.

And little to no evidence if actual knowledge of a deployment that wasn't announced until well after his leaving.

I'm still impressed the Trump campaign staffer physically assaulted an ANC employee over this.

This is something that's been on my mind, if Trump had signed a "truce" with the Afghans about the withdrawal it meant that it was before Ol' Foggy was elected/installed as president. So, if this agreement was in place even before Ol' Foggy assumed office that Ol' Foggy had a whole year to withdraw all military and equipment in a smooth manner. They didn't and it showed with the terrible way it was done. All that equipment that we gifted the Taliban because of the stupidity of the Sec. of Defense and the head of the joint chiefs of staff plus the CIC to delay the withdrawal until the last day showed just how stupid these people are.

Even in real life when you sell your home, you remove your personal items BEFORE you physically move your ass out of the house.

Did you see the "interview" with Kamala last week? I mean, when that's your candidate, all you've got is "a member of Trump's team may have pushed someone and called him a bad name". 03-lmfao

Keep in mind they taped 50 some-odd minutes of the interview of which they spliced down to 18 minutes. And if that 18 minutes was the cluster it was, imagine what the rest of the interview was like.

Yep. There was something like 26 more minutes of Kamala, which for some strange reason (cough), they decided not to air.

Dang, I hope some whistle blower leaks that video, lol.

Ollie -- you are correct. The *manner* in which the final withdrawal was performed was horrendous. But the agreement *to* get out was indeed put into place by Trump.

And there is evidence that amongst the last of the Trump orders in his occupancy of the office was an even *more* fked up withdrawal of forces, which seemed to have been ignored by the Pentagon.

https://www.militarytimes.com/news/penta...tion-loss/

The item above is *not* an excuse for the Biden failure in withdrawing forces. But it tends to very much present an alternative view of the 'Trump is infallible' in matters relating to Afghanistan.

Show me in Trump's plan where he said to give up Bargram AFB, leave billions of dollars of equipment behind, and do a hasty pullout prior to Sept 11 in order to try to make a political win out of the pullout.

And if there was a photo somewhere of Harris and/or Walz smiling at the gravesite of a dead soldier, YOU GUYS WOULD BE LOSING YOUR COLLECTIVE ****!!!

We had one of Joe Biden checking his damn watch yet you poo poo that blatant display of disrespect. And yes every Trump hater out there would have gone after him hard had he not showed up. You know it, I know it, and anyone else with a ounce of common sense knows it.

Some might note the projection of future possibilities into current victimhood angst above. Lolz.

Maybe deal with actual current issues instead of made up projection angst.

And to be honest — it was absolutely not proper for Biden to glance at his watch.

Pretty ****** for a candidate for President turn any item at Arlington (or war dead) into a campaign highlight. That applies across the board.

And a nice counterpoint to losers, suckers, and Mrs Adelson or Mr Rogers being anywhere near equivalent to Schucart in Mogadishu that he has wandered into in the past.

The families evidently invited Trump. They evidently didn't invite Biden. To me that speaks volumes. If it doesn't to you IDGAF.
You continue to use that quote as fact which it is not.
No idea what point you are trying to make with that last sentence.

I dont have an issue in the slightest about the families inviting Trump, and I fully understand why they did not do so for Biden. I too actually think that Biden screwed over the withdrawal.

I find it fairly sickening for Trump to use it fully for a campaign spot. And I would for any candidate. The main issue is to honor those who gave their life -- not to self-promote on it.

And I am not surprised that Trump did so -- treat the families as losers and suckers to grandstand the war dead for his campaign. Fairly apt given the history.

On the last sentence, maybe google "Trump Adelson medal comments". Maybe google "Shugart Mogadishu" to round it out.

If I didnt have a clue what was being alluded to -- I probably would have tried to look it up first -- before complaining. You be you.

I agree that using Arlington for a campaign commercial is wrong.
I'm aware of Randy Shughart, what he did, and how he was rewarded. Also know about Gary Gordon. I said I didn't understand what point you were trying to make. We have covered the MOH versus MOF comments to death.
