No but that’s beside the point. For now they just want at least 1 convictions so as to run the label ‘convicted felon’ during the campaign in hopes it turns the tide for Biden. They could care less if this is overturned later on in the appeals process or the judge gets blasted over it

lol---so the judge has set it up where he can at least get one guilty verdict with only 4 jurors in agreement. If I were Trump, Id make it my business to absolutely ruin this guy with my DOJ and IRS once this kangaroo court is thrown out on appeal.

This is so ridiculous. Any American citizen should not support this nonsense. When Trump's inevitable conviction is announced I'm sure an appeal will be quick.

The jury has to all agree that Trump falsified business records. That is the core crime of this case.

For the felony charge to apply, the falsification of business records needed to happen because of an effort to cover up another crime.

The jury doesn't have to agree on the specific crime that was trying to be covered up, just that there was an attempt to cover up a crime.

That is what the case has always been about Mr. Rubio. Shouting and stomping your feet at the end of the trial doesn't change a thing.

Tom has had a busy few days. After getting his ass handed to him on trying to be a crowd size expert and the expert on Bronx demographics, now he's gonna tell us how he's basically Alan Dershowitz on the law.

I am starting to wonder if Merchan is doing all of this on purpose just to embarrass Trump knowing the case cannot be won on appeal (if it needs to go there).

The Schennanigans are all just so over the top; this guy is not a rookie Judge, he HAS to know the garbage he is pulling is gonna get called- right?

So why not just take advantage of the pulpit while you have it to embarrass and demean Trump any way you can. At the moment, it is the only thing that makes any sense?
