I have it on pretty good authority Rudolph will be back next year. Doesn’t sound as sure on Waylee, but haven’t heard he’s gone yet either.

Does that mean AB Is for sure coming back then?

Not sure NIU could afford Wisconsins GA's. I would be surprised if any of WMU's receivers came here. Because of the "process" this staff uses highly unlikely they even contacted WMU's Illinois recruits.

Could you describe the "process" our staff uses? Thanks.

No one can. That might be the problem. Hammock thinks he sees things that other staffs do not…it is starting to look like other staffs see nothing in a kid because the kid has nothing 90% of the time.

What was Rudolph’s injury in the preseason? I saw an article of it being non-contact so I figured ACL. Could also be an Achilles tear, but nothing ever formally put out into media. Wonder how his rehab is going

I’m pretty sure it was an ACL

SAE made the statement we will give him an opportunity to answer. Your response added no value to the question offered.

BTW, I asked you in another thread to name 3 IL HS coaches who went directly to become D1 cordinators. You never gave 3 names and then did not want to limit it to IL coaches. Ok, name 3 in the last 5-7 years who have done such across the country.

Would be such an easy sell. Beat them in our “down year”, play close to home and a big ten caliber QB in Rocky. I think they have always had some good athletic players every year we play them.

Are you joking, I assume you are joking. Google. Do it. I mean Deion sanders went from HS to head coach…but…but Deion played in the NFL. Doesn’t mean you are a good coach.

Literally drop the Pom poms fan. Hammock stinks. He needs to fix whatever he calls what he is doing. He took a championship team to dead last. That’s trash and this season was a trash coaching job. The team quit. You cannot defend it.

He has no connections and trusts his eyes. Landed his ass in last.

Per Nick Rattin's instagram he is retiring from football.

If everyone else stays in place I wouldn't mind a LB crew of Rayner on the outside, Alvarado in the middle and another outside LB/huskie . Alvarado has a bright future

Alvarado would be one tiny Mike.

Freshman Dawson Ripperda has been with the linebackers of late. He's a little bigger, although we've never seen him play of course.

Maybe Makhi Nelson-Douglas will come back from wherever the heck he was this year. He played in 2021.

One position we need a Return Specialist. Tired of fair catches, we need hidden yardage. I would all levels of football to find this position and maybe he could play db or we, but damn we have to be able to advance the ball on kicks.

That stinks. Didn't he already transfer in from SDSU?

Crazy to think that kids can transfer whenever for whatever. This will be his 3rd spot. Kind of like that one kid on the basketball team who was all over the place.

And yeah, he's a decent enough player. But he probably won't be getting a better offer than here. Perhaps back to FCS?

Rogers played well until he got hurt. Gandy was our most consistent db I think. He was hurt at times but played well. Another loss. Not sure of the back stories but there’s often rumors about issues with coaches or staff. If these guys get a shot at a bigger program, I can’t blame them. That is the current trend in college sports. Love guys like Tucker that stick it out and put themselves in the best position to get drafted. I wish Tucker had a qb to throw to him all season and would have had a huge year. We’ll see how these things pan out because the grass is not always greener.

Not cool. Not cool at all. We just got weaker at our weakest position.

True. Remember when you lose weak players it is not as hard to replace them with another weak player. I wish Rogers would stayed, Hams has ro receuit him back. Obviouisly we have to hunt down some Dbs in the portal.
