For reference, I looked at another random school that pro-football-reference.com says has the same number of active NFL players as UC: Illinois.

Illinois alumni ratings on PFF
#30 CB (Nate Hobbs)
#38 S (Kerby Joseph)
#77 Edge (Dawuane Smoot)
#116 Edge (Jihad Ward)
#11 Center (Ted Karras)
Chase McLaughlin, a kicker who scores 76.2 (kickers are not ranked because they don't have the minimum snap counts)

10 other active players who don't get the minimum # of snap counts

Ok. Part of that was tongue and cheek, but Uc might have three all pros this year. They have several guys playing at a very high level.

Yep, this is a seminal year for Cincinnati becoming more of a fixture in the NFL. There are a core guys who will likely get a second contract from the group of the last few years, which is a huge hurdle to becoming more respectable as a place that sends people to the league.

Having Sauce end up DROY and Travis Kelce coming out of his career as potentially the best TE ever to do it are just wo more feathers, but having the sheer volume of players in the NFL is far more important in recruiting. The more players we can get on more teams, so that our recruits, regardless of location, get to see a Bearcat in the NFL will be huge.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I posted this because it shows that UC compares very favorably to other schools.

Don't forget Jason Kelce is having another All Pro season which probably makes him a HOP lock.

Travis Kelce had an okay game. Seems like he's finally finding his way in the league.

He's the only reason I won my fantasy match this week. I was at 19% win expectancy before the game.

No mention of Kevin Huber? Looks like he’s played his last game after a very solid career. I don’t know if there’s a chance that another team would want him, but there’s no talk of that on the interwebs, so it must not be in the cards.

Knowing him, I don't think he would want to play for another team. He's a Cincinnati guy through and through...I'd be very surprised if he doesn't call it a career after this season.

He's done. Bengals remained loyal for too long. He hasn't been an NFL caliber punter for 3 seasons. He's had a great career though.

Besides, I imagine Huber has a large minimum salary considering how long he has been in the league. Teams would be better off paying less for a younger punter, especially with so many really good punters coming out of college these days.

Any chance that, especially with the B12 money kicking in, UC brings back Huber as a consultant or coach on ST?

Punters and kickers enjoy the longest work life expectancy of any position group in the NFL, currently at 4.9 years. Huber got what--- 14 years. If we are being honest if it weren't the Bengals and he wasn't a Cincinnati guy he probably would have only done half that.

Looking forward to seeing what Huber does once he formally hangs it up.

Seems like something Fickell would do but our punting game is completely different now than it was when he played. Not even sure he knows much about the Rugby style.

Honestly, no need to mess with our punting game. We're now running on like 6 straight seasons where it has been great to elite.

Half that is probably an exaggeration. He was a top half of the NFL punter for most of his career and was especially deft at putting the ball inside the 20. The last 3 years he has fallen off a cliff... Bengals at the very least should have moved on this past offseason if not before, but I don't think many NFL franchises would have moved on from what Huber produced throughout most of his career.

One site says his career earnings we’re about $26 million. He should be ok
