With the draft concluded, might as well get this started:

Coby Bryant has opportunity to carve out big role in Seahawks’ secondary as a rookie

i was shocked about his as well:

Quote:All of which is why the Seahawks couldn’t have been happier to see Bryant — who some mock drafts had going as high as the second round — still available at pick 109 in the fourth round last Saturday, a pick they got as part of the Jamal Adams trade. That it was regarded as a deep cornerback class undoubtedly helped lead to Bryant’s name still being on the board.
The NFL is going to be so much fun to watch this year. Of course the Bengals are my main rooting interest but all the Bearcats in the league will make several other teams interesting to watch.
Do we have any USFL players?

Darius Harper and Devin Gray at the moment.
Should the banner be changed to "Bearcats in the NFL - 2022"? Are we skipping ahead a year?

It's fairly easy to change it in the responses at least.

Kahlil Lewis is with the Philadelphia Stars.
I am surprised MWII has not hooked up with the CFL or USFL. Perhaps he did not stay in shape or I think the CFL values pass catching out of RB's.
I was thinking the same thing about Jarell White & Bryan Wright. I'm sure I'm forgetting aa couple of others that didn't get much of a shot due to COVID.

B. Wright got picked up by the Ottawa Red Blacks a few weeks ago.

Jarrell is a great football player, he is just undersized. If he were a few inches taller he would be playing on Sundays.

Warren’s skill set does not fit in the CFL. They prefer backs who are exceptional catching the ball out of the backfield and creating in space. Warren is a bowling ball. He was born in the wrong era— would have made a lot of money on Sundays 30 years ago.

I agree with you on the CFL valuing RB's having receiver skills. That said MWII is on the BC Lions reserve squad.
Myjai Sanders, EDGE, Cardinals

I didn't think Sanders was Randy Gregory 2.0 -- you know, the edge rusher who signed a five-year, $70M deal with the Broncos in March -- but I got serious Gregory vibes while watching him at Cincinnati over the past two years. He's impossibly gangly and even more unfathomably powerful despite his tall, slender stature. He bends. He understands his hands are his best friends when dealing with offensive tackles.

As someone who thought Sanders should've been picked higher than where he was ultimately selected -- Round 3 -- I need to see this man rush the passer.. As his body grows from prospect to professional, I really believe the sky's the limit for Sanders.

And he'll be up against the Bengals tonight...lots of young Bearcats will be on the field tonight actually.

Sanders, Murray, and Wiggins for AZ
Deguara for GB
Ridder for ATL
Ford and Hudson for CLE
Sauce for NYJ
Ridder and the Falcons play at 6 tonight on NFL Network. I’m sure Des will get plenty of snaps tonight.
Jerome Ford running wild for Browns!

Ford later ran it in for a 3 yard TD.
