She..like DJT need to be sent packing for the same reason. They both attract the least common denominator of conservatives, bring out the worst in them and then make conservatism look radicalized. I can't be a part of that nonsense.
I don’t agree. Republicans are trying to move to the Center too much. We need to move back to the Right. We need to kick the McConnell’s and Graham’s of the Republican Party to the curb. We are not Democrats Lite. We don’t need to try to appeal to the nonsense of the Left.
I would rather see Republicans lose standing firmly against Abortion, CRT, and Gender-fluid nonsense than win compromising our principles. If standing up for the Unborn looks radical to some, so be it.
It’s embarrassing to think Republicans lost to candidates who can’t tell you the difference between a man or a woman and believe it’s OK to kill a baby that’s been carried full term.
That’s on Republicans. Democrats didn’t win races. Republicans lost them.
I fully agree.
We can pick stronger candidates without comprising our values and principles.
Its an uphill battle on all fronts though. Our culture is corrupt and evil and loves their sin and themselves more than anything. The media, Hollywood and nearly all social influencers are against us. Everyone is wrapped up in themselves. Jesus siad when we see all the signs he pointed to for us to LOOK UP, that our redemption draws nigh. Instead the country and world are all looking down at their screens.
Prayer is actually our biggest weapon right now. There is not a single weapon we can wield that is stronger than prayer and genuine faith. Even in our darkest hour our Father can still let His will be done.
The one thing about candidate Trump was the man was such a rockstar in 2016 that even the Liberal media was stopping what they were doing to air a daily Trump Rally. That may have been due to his pop culture status, but the guy did execute a great campaign strategy in 2016. I'm not saying that future POTUS candidates need to completely follow his roadmap, but what I am saying is that strong and savvy enough candidates can overcome the Liberal media, and actually use it to their advantage. I saw areas of Pittsburgh that went 5-10% for Romney go as high as 40% for Trump, even in 2020. Even the Pa 35 Republican candidate (Don Nevills, a friend of mine actually) got around 33% of the vote in the Mon Valley (McKeesport, Clairton, Glassport, West Mifflin, Dravosburg). That's an incredible win for Republicans in that area, due to the working class moving more Republican. 15 years ago, a republican running for Pa 35 would've gotten maybe 2% of the vote.
I think future candidates should continue to try to appeal to the working class without hurting their conservative values. If a Drazan can win in Oregon, then I think that Republicans can win anywhere. It just takes enough money, and strong candidates to get it done.

Agreed
But I still think DeSantis is by far the best option to retake the WH.
You may not be a Christian, but its going to take prayer regardless. Prayed played a big role in 2016, even though most Christians knew Trump was not a godly man. But if you read the Bible God has used ungodly men for thousands of years to help his people when they are in need.
He fought for our values and beliefs as hard as anyone has since Reagan.

Which is why I think it may even be a bigger win tonight than the projections---because the polling methodology used almost ALWAYS favors Democrats. What this tells us is that even a substantial number of Democrats are unhappy with the current path of the nation....which is not surprising because Ive never thought the progressive agenda really accurately reflected the wishes of very many people---even Democrats.
Or... people don't tell the pollsters the truth about who they are voting for fear of embarrassment. People were embarrassed to vote for Trump in 2016, people are embarrassed to vote Democrat now.

The problem is LEADERSHIP Jim. Having moonbats leading is not the answer. Where are the REAL conservative "Statesmen" like Goldwater, Reagan, Ron Paul, William Buckley? They don't exist now in this GOP and THAT is the problem. It's over run by RINOs and moonbat far right wingers.

Bear in mind that there 52 or 51 includes names like Collins, Romney and Murkowski.
I think the celebration number for the Senate is 54.
This.
A net gain of +1 or +2 in the Senate would represent a very weak performance for the GOP.
As I said, I would be happy with a net gain of +1. I think we can get there.

Lolz. I am reminded of a joke from high school about fat girls and mopeds.
