Lol, and you are saying others are spewing political crap. Try thinking for yourself and being part of a community. You have fallen way down the conspiracy rabbit hole.
When you walk into LB stadium on Saturday you are encouraged to wear a mask. The drunk who coughed on me multiple times in the in the opener motivated me to wear a mask. My choice and none of your conspiracy nutcase political mantras makes one bit of difference in my life choices.
If I go to an establishment that has a policy about wearing a mask I wear one because I respect that place as a patron. My individual right is to choose not to go there if I don’t like their rules not to crucify them.
Coaches are encouraging players to get vaccinated out of safety and because they don’t want to lose players for a game or forfeit a game. If we were in a flu epidemic we would do the same except this 18 month epidemic is 10 times as deadly and infectious. Everyone u derstands they have choices and options.
You have the right to take risks but your rights are not paramount to the safety of others. People are choosing to not work because they do not want to get vaccinated or wear mask. That’s hurting the economy. Tn has the highest infection rates per capita in the country but you think your rights are more important than the masses. Hospitals have no ICU beds available because they are filled with Covid patients of which 96% were not vaccinated. But your rights are more important than the people being turned away for other reasons they have no control over.
Not sure when disease and safety of the masses became a thing for right wing conspiracy minions to hang their political lives on but it is not conservative ideology and it is not Christian ethic and it is not historical American community values.
I’m done. I’ll be in the stands wearing my mask because it is my right to choose safety and my right to play a role in protecting others.
You took the shot--why should you worry about me--you are protected from me--oh wait-- I forgot --another LIE from KING FAUCI/FDA/CDC/ONEWORLDGOVERNMENT---or were they all just WRONG--like the guy who said that we were #2 on everybody's list -only behind Cindy
There is a greater risk of the stadium falling in and killing you--a plane hitting the stadium and killing you--being shot at the stadium and killing you--getting killed by a bad pronto pup at the stadium--a bird hitting your temple and killing you --you getting killed on the way to the stadium--getting killed on the way home after you leave the stadium

Oh and 11 to 1 odds you will die from covid if you are unvaccinated.

Ceteris paribus, 11 to 1 you will die from covid without the vax.

We should be trying to help and helping gain interest and recruiting new fans...Calling people cheap doesnt help. Hell if 4 other people will do the same ill pay for one of his tickets.
Any takers on helping me get this guy some tickets or are we just gonna argue about covid?

Those of us expecting to add 10K to 15K in attendance may not be accounting for fans lost due to higher ticket prices.
Someone young and energetic - get out there and find some numbers.
Corporate ticket purchases of blocks of tickets for their employees jumps considerably just FYI.
As well, visiting teams traditionally bring numbers in the 1000s up to 10,000 a game - huge followings.
Combinations of those for a few years then more individual season tickets are purchased because people miss our on games and visiting teams buy them. Planning is essential for a lot of families as it should be
Pieces and aspects we have not had to walk through yet.

11x more likely not 11 to 1 odds... so if there is a .1 chance of death for a vaccinated person with covid, there would be a 1.1 percent chance of death for an unvaccinated person to die from covid.

Get your lawn mower and cut about 5 yards. You will have the money then. Better yet get one of your kids you are taking to the game to cut them. It could be a teaching tool.

He's the one guy in this thread that gets a full pass. He's a USF fan. It's good enough that he is willing to pay money to go to the game.

STUBHUB shows tickets available for as little as $40 (very few at that price) on up. The vast majority are over $80.

Tickets "sold" to these games of late hover around 38K to 42K with actual people showing up around 80% of that - announced is in and around based on how are average attendance is looking "the eye test".
Not surprising at all.

What was official attendance? I didn't hear an announcement at the game, and the box score doesn't show it.
As for mask wearing...I did not get asked by ticket scanners if I had one, and never put one on - even in the restrooms. I saw maybe 1 out of 20 people wearing one in the corridors/bathrooms. It's a non-issue.
