So -you are saying --one has rights --and one does not

I am saying that it shocks me that there are people so dumb, that they don't see how different rules and logic apply.

Joe Public Age 18-25
- Doesn't get vaccinated
- Has the option of socially distancing
- Limited opportunities to contract or pass on the virus
- Survival rate of 9,999/10,000 if they contract it.
- Personal quarantine

Memphis Tiger Football Player
- Doesn't get vaccinated
- Will be in close physical contact with others on a daily basis
- Probably 1,000X more apt to pass it on than someone in the general public
- Survival rate of 9,999/10,000 if they contract it
- Infection will undoubtedly result in many players contracting it
- Infection will most probably result in games being forfeited

Now is a chance for you to be a hero's and say that you see the difference. This is your big chance to be a hero's.

ALL they have done since day one is --LIE LIE LIE

Lol, and you are saying others are spewing political crap. Try thinking for yourself and being part of a community. You have fallen way down the conspiracy rabbit hole.

When you walk into LB stadium on Saturday you are encouraged to wear a mask. The drunk who coughed on me multiple times in the in the opener motivated me to wear a mask. My choice and none of your conspiracy nutcase political mantras makes one bit of difference in my life choices.

If I go to an establishment that has a policy about wearing a mask I wear one because I respect that place as a patron. My individual right is to choose not to go there if I don’t like their rules not to crucify them.

Coaches are encouraging players to get vaccinated out of safety and because they don’t want to lose players for a game or forfeit a game. If we were in a flu epidemic we would do the same except this 18 month epidemic is 10 times as deadly and infectious. Everyone u derstands they have choices and options.

You have the right to take risks but your rights are not paramount to the safety of others. People are choosing to not work because they do not want to get vaccinated or wear mask. That’s hurting the economy. Tn has the highest infection rates per capita in the country but you think your rights are more important than the masses. Hospitals have no ICU beds available because they are filled with Covid patients of which 96% were not vaccinated. But your rights are more important than the people being turned away for other reasons they have no control over.

Not sure when disease and safety of the masses became a thing for right wing conspiracy minions to hang their political lives on but it is not conservative ideology and it is not Christian ethic and it is not historical American community values.

I’m done. I’ll be in the stands wearing my mask because it is my right to choose safety and my right to play a role in protecting others.

You took the shot--why should you worry about me--you are protected from me--oh wait-- I forgot --another LIE from KING FAUCI/FDA/CDC/ONEWORLDGOVERNMENT---or were they all just WRONG--like the guy who said that we were #2 on everybody's list -only behind Cindy

There is a greater risk of the stadium falling in and killing you--a plane hitting the stadium and killing you--being shot at the stadium and killing you--getting killed by a bad pronto pup at the stadium--a bird hitting your temple and killing you --you getting killed on the way to the stadium--getting killed on the way home after you leave the stadium

NAIVE MUCH

Oh and 11 to 1 odds you will die from covid if you are unvaccinated.

Oh and 11 to 1 odds you will die from covid if you are unvaccinated.

TN is averaging daily average deaths of 58.3 (https://tinyurl.com/2sbnebju). 98% of the people in the hospital are unvaccinated. I know two people personally who have died from COVID and a third who was in a coma for a month. One was the greek adviser for the UofM and in her early 40s.

I got COVID from a drunk at a tailgate last week - I was vaccinated and had relatively mild symptoms thankfully.

All of your numbers are completely wrong jsw3ent. If this was just your personal risk, I'd say have at it - that gamble is all you.

But the problem is every person who gets it, especially those that are unvaccinated are both and reservoirs for future mutations and exponential starting points for more infections.

You need to practice reading comprehension ---the fake news that I think you are trying to cite is 11 times MORE/MORE likely

The odds that someone will get covid and die is 0.25 at best------the reason I say at best --the FAKE NEWS that you cite and even the 0.25 includes all the people that died from car accidents/cancer/diabetes/heart attacks/strokes/shark attacks/death from pronto pups/bee stings/falling stars------WHY YOU ASK---BECAUSE HOSPITALS RECEIVED $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for every single death they listed as covid--------------------WHO?WHOM?WHAT gave/gives them the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ the ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT -DEEP STATE ILK-TYRANNICAL GOVERNMENT

You and me not taking the shot is an option. The players can't afford to have that choice. With the physical contact they have with each other and opponents, it would be idiotic of them to not take it. If they don't want to take it, they should opt out.

...or rather the players that don't want to play with/against players that don't take the shot---THEN THEY SHOULD OPT OUT

So -you are saying --one has rights --and one does not

Two things if you cant play you forfeit the game

Secondly aren't kids who are vaccinated less likely to be excluded for contact tracing based on the NCAA rules. If that is the case wouldn't him telling his team to take the shot be what is best for the team.

Isn't that his job...To do what is best for the team.

"the team" ?--what about best for the individual---I thought he was like a "father away from home figure"--

This intrusion on our rights--where does it end ?

Whats next ?

....and the jury is still out on if it will best for the team

Healthcare workers around the world are refusing and scared to take it -----feared enough that they are getting fired for not taking it

I have a roadster that has a top end of 160mph. Where is my freedom to cruise around town at half speed? And if I am stopped the first thing the gestapo demands of me is to produce my license! Where does this intrusion of my Liberty end?
Don't want to pay $60 for a single game ticket buy a season ticket for $100.

Spoken like a true BIG BROTHER/FAUCI/ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT/NEW WORLD ORDER/W.H.O./CDC FAN

If you believe ANYTHING that is spewed from the list above---you are beyond help---you are like the lemmings/sheep following each other off the cliff or in the giant hole

Everyone understands they have choices and options.

NAIVE MUCH

I did not mention any of the /// list you provided. Everything I said is local and nonpolitical.

Repeating the same random nonspecific divisive exaggerated diversions is exactly what I was addressing. Denial is not a virtue. I gave you specifics.

Deal with facts and address those or your voice is just an annoying fart in the wind. I love a good debate but you are just shouting. Your last para was he worst unrelated drivel. Can you carry on a conversation without quoting some extremist demagogy?

Let Congress pass a law requiring everyone get the vax, otherwise they can gtfoh with their authoritarian arbitrary and capricious mandates.
.
It is that simple.

And to the dude that wants to speed in his roadster. Lulz. There is a law against that, passed by the legislature.

Make the vax a law. I double dog dare them

I don't think anyone was suggesting $5 tickets. But, a BOGO (2 for $60) or something creative to fill the seats. That's all.

And btw...if we do get to P5 and OCS, then this is a conversation we're likely to never have again every week.

Your 11-1 odds was incorrect .....again you misread the FAKENEWS that you were trying to quote. It said 11-1 MORE/MORE likely .

Your fact was FALSE

I’m not about to take a side here, but I don’t think being denied the freedom to cruise through Overton Square at 80mph is the best comparison. I don’t have a better one, but still.

Somehow not wanting to take a shot is directly related to not wanting to pay $60 for a ticket. There is some some sincere insanity in this thread.

Right. Its lunacy.

Back to the OP.

I do not have the time nor the inclination to explain the economics resulting in tickets that are 60 bucks for this game.

You can buy LSU-Miss State tickets for 38$ right now on stubhub. There is a clue.

The rocket scientists here can try to work the economics of what is happening on their own. If they cant solve the riddle, then they dont deserve to understand

They should do flash sale or something. Butts in seats are gonna be more important than ever especially on the visitors side given tv appearance and conference realignments.

That doesn’t negate that should we ever get into a P5, folks are gonna have to get ready for price raises but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

I would love to see an analysis of before P5 and after P5 attendance, ticket prices, and gross ticket revenues from some of the teams that have already moved up.

Those of us expecting to add 10K to 15K in attendance may not be accounting for fans lost due to higher ticket prices.

Someone young and energetic - get out there and find some numbers.
