It’s a common cop out agreeing that there is a point that is too late but not having an opinion as to when that is. It either is or it isn’t.

And your entire second paragraph screams minorities. Planned parenthood would agree as they abort black babies like there is a BOGO sale going on every day.

It is not a cop out. I am not a doctor or scientist. I simply cannot tell you when life begins. You want to say heartbeat... that is an opinion, you want to say the nano-second the sperm and egg join... this is an opinion as well, you want to pull some other benchmark of time in the process that is opinion too.

From a pure speculative point of when the fetus can "feel" anything - that is opinion as well. Other than a hand full of people who are likely crazy and/or lying to attempt to make a point, nobody remembers anything from being in the womb.

As for your second comment I did not mention minorities, you did. I have come across lots and lots of people of all ethnicities who should never be raising a child in any capacity.

In the Old Testament there are accounts of the Israelites sacrificing their babies to false gods. I used to think how terrible that was and how could they get to such a place mentally to allow this. Then, I realized we as a country do this on a grand scale. And, we don’t even wait on them to be born.

Mother Theresa said it best.

“We must not be surprised when we hear of murders, of killings, of wars, of hatred. If a mother can kill her own child, what is left but for us to kill each other?” and, “A nation that kills its children in the womb has lost its soul.”
