There aren’t 10 rotational Centers currently whose only offensive game is getting a lob and dunking the ball. I have no qualms about Moussa…he has time to develop. My only comment in this thread has been about a post that states that there are a bunch of Centers in current NBA that only catches lobs and dunks the ball and has no other offensive game.

Of course there are. There are 12 centers in the top 100 scorers. Many of them do exactly that and earn a good living in the league for many years. Most of them were less advanced than Cisse is right now, at the same age. So when someone like you goes into hysterics making a nonsensical comparison between a high schooler and an NBA player, that is exactly the question.

Dude…never went into comparisons. My response was specifically to the post about most NBA centers being just dunkers with no other offensive game. Show me where I mentioned anything about Moussa not developing. I get it…you are not bright enough to keep up with various conversations. Next time, ignore my post and move on.

Your argument is stupid. 99.9% of all recruits aren't ready for the NBA when they are high school seniors. All of them develop. What you are saying is stupid.

I have no idea what you are talking about. You are spouting nonsense at this point. You have comprehension problems and there’s no way to fix that at your ripe old age.

You have no idea about anything, but you are probably a 12 year old, so maybe you can develop.

Same ole Stammers. Keep on keeping on. As always, you have no idea what the heck you are responding to…continuously mixing up posters and responding to the wrong ones. And then doubling down on the insanity. Back to the ignore list you go senile little old man.

Everyone, even Nickleberry and Enoh can develop, but NOT Cisse
Quote:Most of these guys will improve next year (2018). Regardless of the coach. I’m not sure why that’s a surprise to you. They had a few months of D1 training. They’ll have another full year of strength and conditioning and a full year to learn the system. Add a few good parts (we need shooters and a PG bad) and we’ll be on the NCAA bubble. I know that’s not what people want, but regardless of the coach, that’s about all we’ll see next year.

Same ole Stammers. Keep on keeping on. As always, you have no idea what the heck you are responding to…continuously mixing up posters and responding to the wrong ones. And then doubling down on the insanity. Back to the ignore list you go senile little old man.

Rudy Gobert, 28 years old, 30.8 minutes per game
92.1% of shots from 3 feet or less
72.0% from 0-3 feet
15.2% from more than 3 feet

Mitchell Robinson 23 years old, 27.5 minutes per game
Quote:Mitchell Robinson's shot chart is art. He is shooting 69.6% from the field, best among all players who've played at least 25 games and average 2 shots/game. He's taken 210 shots & 209 of them have been dunks, lay-ups or hook shots. He's taken 1 shot more than 10 feet from the rim. He's also taken 3 shots outside of 5 feet all season.

Clint Capella 27 years old, 31.8 minutes per game
593 shots, 5 feet or less, 64.2%
102 shots, more than 5 feet, 31.4%

DeAndre Jordan 32 years old, 21.9 minutes
237 shots, 5 feet or less, 78.5%
12 shots, more than 5 feet, 33%
47.5% career free throws also

Robert Williams III, 23 years old,
208 shots, 5 feet or less
50 shots, more than 5 feet

JaVale McGee 33 years old, 13.5 minutes per game
74.2% from 0-3 feet
30.4 more than 3 feet

Nerlens Noel, 27 years old, 24.2 minutes per game
71.6% from 0-3 feet
36.6% from more than 3 feet

Quote:There are five players in the NBA (2020) that have taken more than 95% of their shots from 8 feet or closer (50 shots or more): Tyson Chandler: 100.0% (93 shots) Ed Davis: 99% (92 shots) DeAndre Jordan: 98% (169 shots) Clint Capela: 96% (217 shots) Rudy Gobert: 95% (119 shots)

Moses Brown
80% from 0-3 feet
20% from 3-10 feet

First, there is plenty of place in the NBA for centers who can only dunk and make layups, IF they can rebound and defend. Second, Cisse was 18 years old when the season started, and should have still been in high school. To say that he has no skills AND use NBA players as a comparison is idiotic. Third, like every human being on the planet, he is going to improve at every level.

Your argument is stupid on every level known to man.

How lucky can we be to have some Canadian Internet tough guy latch on to our sports programs? No connection to the city or university but feels the need to comment on their message boards 24/7/365. Over 33,000 posts (over five/day)…. Of all the “special interests” available, Canadian Rainman chooses Memphis sports. 10 minutes to Wapner!

In my experience having met and befriended many Memphians over the years, and on this board, 99.9% of our fanbase think it is pretty cool. Every coach, everyone in the media, every booster and player I ever met has always told me they think it is cool, and have always been kind to me. I always feel welcomed when I meet fellow Tiger fans at games, and have hung out with many of them when they have ventured into Canada. The only ones that have a problem with it are losers like you that I can make fun of on a regular basis. I don't blame you.

I don't go on any Montreal Canadien message boards because all my friends are fans and I have access to information here. Canada has no D1 basketball programs and I loved the game when I played in high school through university. It only took me a couple of games 40 years ago to become a fan and I haven't wavered through thick and thin since then. In the early 80's I would pay $12 for the weekend edition of the CA, and sometimes it would cost me $25 in long distance fees, to ask the radio station to put me on hold for 2 hours to listen to games.

What is weird is how angered you are seemingly about everything. I get that you are upsetted when you see how stupid your own opinions are when they are quoted back to you, but at some point you should seek help. Maybe a serenity prayer would help.

Nerlens Noel, 27 years old, 24.2 minutes per game

Senor Tiger and I have both provided proof and data, but your tiny pea brain can't process any of it. Anything more than colouring books or nap time, and you would have an aneurysm.

Quote:Which of them is consistently knocking down 15+ jumpers? Which of them is consistently posting up as an offensive threat? Which of them has a consistent turn around shot or consistent hook shot? Which of them is pulling down a defensive rebound and going to coast to coast with it?

Clint Capela - 168 dunks - 26% of his total shots - 16th highest % in NBA - 71% of shots at the rim
Nerlens Noel - 76 dunks - 39% of his total shots - 4th highest % in NBA - 69% of shots at the rim
Andre Drummond - 58% of shots at the rim
Mitchell Robinson - 69% of shots at the rim
Robert Williams III - 93 dunks - 38.8% of his total shots - 5th highest % in NBA - 64.3% of shots at the rim
DeAndre Jordan - 137 dunks - 61% of total shots - 1st highest % in NBA - 88% of shots at the rim
Willie Cauley-Stein - 53 dunks 36.3% of total shots - 6th highest % in NBA - 79% of shots at the rim
JaVale McGee - 67.5% of shots at the rim
Dewayne Dedmon - 83% of shots at the rim
Robin Lopez - 70% of shots inside of 3 feet
Moses Brown - 62.5% of shots at the rim
Dwight Howard at this point - 85 dunks - 31.7% of total shots - 10% highest % in NBA - 67% of shots at the rim

But tell me more about their expansive offensive games... At the rim is inside of 3 feet...

So which is it?

A: Everyone on the list had a more developed offensive game when they were high school seniors than when they were in the NBA 2-4 years later?

B: Everyone on the list developed and improved from the time they were high school seniors?

C: I have no clue what anyone is talking about. If I call the mean guy names and put him on ignore, maybe he will stop mocking me.

Let's go with A and C and call it a day. 03-lmfao01-wingedeagle

3AM! The Rainman has insomnia!

Rainman says, “I must post, it’s my only outlet to the real world! The coaches, media, everyone loves me and thinks it’s cool that I am so strangely infatuated with a message board that I have adopted! Other than Chucky Cheese (where I regularly hold court at the table next to the plastic ball play house), MT.org is my fav! Going for 40,000 posts by year end! I can do it!”

Go ahead Rainman, talk to yourself. You’re on ignore…

Kindergarten level comprehension indeed

SenorTiger did but he was able to follow the conversation and accurately responded to me questioning his statement about NBA centers. You got sidetracked and still don’t realize it. Awww mean names make you mad? You should probably re-read the thread and see who started it. Some people can dish it out but can’t take it. Comprehension is a lost art for you. Anyways, I know you will keep on responding cuz that’s what you do. For some reason, this has really riled you up. But wait, almost every counter thought to yours riles you up nowadays. Keep on keeping on.

Charlie Babbit says you are an excellent driver…

I understand that being so easily mocked and ridiculed makes you mad. If you weren't so funny, I would stop. You don't quite have a grasp on the definition of nonsense. As always, I'm here to help.

You should probably double or triple up on the serenity prayers. I don't think the serenity is kicking in yet. 03-lmfao01-wingedeagle

A post at 1:30AM? Can’t get enough? The Rainman never sleeps! Too busy counting cards with Charlie Babbit! One creepy old dude.. the roller skating rinks and arcades must be closed….

Quote:The Serenity Prayer
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference

Quote:When faced with situations that you have absolutely no control over and it frustrates you, I suggest you learn the serenity prayer.
Quote:Serenity now.... Serenity now... all joking aside, it is a very powerful prayer in my opinion...

You need to triple the dose of serenity. Probably the best way would be to spend less time getting mocked on message boards.

Quote:I'm behind Tubby 100%. He's a great coach and will turn Memphis around!
Quote:Tubby's a proven winner. I think he'll do very well here...
Quote:You are one of the few that thinks hiring Tubby wasn't an improvement.

Wrong about everything/serenity guy who is always mad. I pity you, it sucks.

3AM! The Rainman has insomnia!

Rainman says, “I must post, it’s my only outlet to the real world! The coaches, media, everyone loves me and thinks it’s cool that I am so strangely infatuated with a message board that I have adopted! Other than Chucky Cheese (where I hold court at the table next to the plastic ball play house), MT.org is my fav! Going for 40,000 posts by year end! I can do it!”

You have a very vivid and detailed image of my life; clearly you've spent a lot of time imagining it. The difference between you and me is that I don't have to make anything up. Anyone can pull up any of your posts and make fun of you. Anger management issue serenity guy, always wrong, obsessed with me.

Quote:Marshall can’t force him to honor the LOI, but he can make him sit a year or sign with a team outside the AAC.

Unlike you, I'm not making it up. To me you're just a dummy on a message board. I don't obsess over how sad your life is.

We both pointed out that your argument is stupid, and backed it up with facts. Laughing at you; nothing more, nothing less.

A and C it is.
