As for stimulus, My daughter 'was' still on my taxes and I make too much for a check, so she gets nothing... My son filed his own in 2019, but hasn't seen anything yet... and no way to find out 'what's up'.
So while I'm still working, the rest of my family is not... and I'm 'sacrificing' for them.
The Paper Check stimulus payouts just started arriving this week. The online check up on your stimulus and IRS sites are a bad joke. You'll find out some info only after the checks have been processed other than that it will say your information does not match. So if your son filed a tax return for 2018, even if he hasn't for 2019, he should be getting a paper check soon. If he was set up for direct deposit on his 2018 IRS return and his bank has not changed then he has a problem

Stink, you are handling them incorrectly. You need either to wear that mask that Hannibal Lector wore in Silence of the Lambs or get you a Jason styled hockey mask and try again. You would be in compliance, but they may consent to you not having one after the customers flee the store because you wore either of those masks.
Personally, I prefer a plain white mask with a message on it, "This is not for Quarantine. It's a Hold Up!"

Individual responsibility. You dont get to 91 hiding under your bed at the whim of despots
Instead of psycho analyzing people online and bitcheing about masks, a certain poster (and I'm not pointing fingers) should maybe introduce their offspring to eden ryl....as in pack your own chute.

I've been waiting for someone to chime with that one...
risk/reward not worth it...the sadistic laugh in return is satisfying enough...
it's only a matter of time before that happens and 'blows the fokkk up'....

You should have lectured the 91 year old being selfish for not wearing a mask and social distancing.

This was fear for them
True story here:
In my Freshman year at Auburn I was befriended by a pretty blonde upper classman. She wanted me to join her jump group. Moton Field was the location for the parachute club at the time and it was not sanctioned by the University.
I have always followed the philosophy of my fighter pilot father who never practiced a jump. When asked to comply he told the base Commander that his job was to return a multi-million dollar fighter plane safely and if he was shot down or the aircraft failed he would bail but that he saw no purpose in practicing something you had to do right the first time. The Commander chuckled and cleared him.
His concern in reality at the time was that the fighter pilots didn't pack their own chutes and the military loses lives every year on static line practice jumps and even if you get a good chute you can screw up a knee or hip or your back and no longer be cleared to fly.
Well the blonde got that response from me, but a buddy of mine who was in the class and hearing her request jumped on it because his father had been Airborne in WWII and because she was adorable.
We were all there for his first jump. It was static line but from a small plane so the jumper had to leave the door and cling to the strut before letting go. He never let go for three lopsided passes by the jump plane. Finally this big black boot (jumpmaster) appeared outside the door kicking his hands loose from the strut. He missed the drop zone and landed in the trees, but thankfully wasn't injured. The first one to the tree was the blonde who looked up and uttered these devastating words, "We'll you sure impressed the hell outa me!"
Two years later she died in a jump with a group with a chute she didn't pack. Nobody wants to bounce, but it happens more often than many realize.

The paper checks first arrived several weeks ago. I'd say from what I saw that the first week was definitely the largest group - and it tended to be somewhat alphabetical in nature (people whose last names are towards the beginning of the alphabet got them more than later in the alphabet). They've come in less frequent numbers the past 2 weeks. My guess is they're quite a bit behind in the processing so the original idea of sending out X amount every week isn't happening as scheduled.
At least that is what is happening in Texas from what I am seeing.
