Yep, overall Huskies got raw end of officiating. Huskies WILL NOT have a losing season this year

If you're referring to the drive by CMU with like 12 seconds left where James went up for the block? I thought it was an OK no-call after seeing the replace, James went straight up. Unless the other defender hit him below.

Updated projections after Friday/Saturday's game. Despite the W today for NIU, have to slide NIU to a 5 seed , although its obviously looking more and more like the winner of NIU vs Ball State will probably decide it. 3 seed still very much alive, just need to somehow get Buffalo back into a tiebreak situation and BEAT BALL STATE. Other than that big battle for 3-5th seed, no major changes after this week's action with similar projections

Huge 3 from Lacey James with around 2:00 to go and then a huge steal and layup from German down 4 with just over 1:00 to go after he had forced a bad 3 the previous play. Those were the 2 plays that stood out to me down the stretch.

We had 3016 for the attendance today. 5000 is the average of all college teams so we’ve still got a ways to go but it’s a start. Halftime entertainment, an national anthem singer and a loud music and PA made it seem like a real event and a bigger one at that. Great job today to NIU Athletics. Now take what you did today and do it for other games. 3000 needs to be our bottom not top!

Currently yes, I mean to say get back to being tied with Buffalo in a projected sense. Right now I think Buffalo could project out 1 game better than NIU. If NIU beats EMU though, NIU is looking GOLDEN. Not only does that draw NIU back into a likely good tiebreak scenario with Buffalo, but its a KEY divisional win for what could be divisional record tiebreak vs Ball State. Huskies beat EMU, would it be fair to say dont book your hotels in Cleveland, but maybe get the bus a tuneup ?

Good point dc. Hope they enjoyed an exciting game and come back. Like you said athletics need to get the ball rolling to bring these fans back.

To have enough fans to cause enough of a emotional reaction from CMU players, brings a tear to my eye. NIU needs to market THE HECK out of the Ball State game March 6th, there needs to be AT LEAST 4000 in the Convo for that game. A first round bye will likely be the prize for that game.
