Quinones and Boogie
I was very impressed with both of their games last night.
They are getting better and better.
Both of them are going to be a force next season.

based on what Mark G speculated on the radio today that might end up being the case somewhere else.

Who knows, I doubt it.
Both will start for us next year, not sure why they would choose to give that up.

This is the 2nd time when Boogie was having a good game and the ball was taken out of his hands at the end and placed in ALos, and both times ALo let us down. If I were Boogie I would transfer.

The city would implode, if something like that, or similar happened.

RE: Quinones and Boogie
If Penny wants to keep running Alo and Tyler out there a ton of minutes they very well could transfer.. Boogie needs the ball in his hands. Tyler and ALo need to be on the bench and play sparingly.

yep, it's been clear for a few games now that boogie needs to be running this offense, it will be a shame when he leaves

RE: Quinones and Boogie
People in poker room at Horseshoe---speculating that if Penny doesn't sign Brown and Green---then Penny will pull a Wiseman. They say he will be so embarrassed by the ridicule that he is already getting across the country and it will only get worse. People saying his EGO cant take it. If we don't sign those guys---AND lose some players to transfer----could they be right ?---what say you.

I don't think so, but Penny and Mike will eventually coach in the NBA if they want to.
Penny has no reason to be embarrassed and I'm sure he is used to heckling by now.
Penny's not a quitter.

As bad as they play poker, why would anyone value their speculative thoughts?

RE: Quinones and Boogie
Boogie sat out much of the second half while Tyler jacked up bad 30 footers. Boogie should have played 35 minutes or even 40 given it was a 45 minute game. He was making things happen while Tyler was busy being a liability with his size inability to effectively guard anyone. While Boogie sat he only had 1 foul. Explain that. I kept asking if he had pissed off Penny. Alo and Tyler have no quickness, they may have speed but no real quickness. That speed often ends up as out of control ball handling and running into bigs with nowhere to go. Tyler and ALo should never be on the floor together or see more than mop up minutes or to give a quick breather. Boogie drives on that last shot and he has a much better chance of either scoring or creating enough contact to draw a foul.
Meanwhile Precious is running the floor like he's a point guard because no one is trying to get him the ball. When he finally gave that up we started playing much better, so much better that he ended up with a double double again. ALo seems content with dribbling around the perimeter until there's 10 seconds left on the shot clock and nowhere to go. Tyler is just severely undersized to be effective against a big guard. Boogie, and Baugh for that matter, are a much better matchup against big guards. I wouldn't be surprised to see Baugh go but I'm not sure Boogie will. If we can pull something out of what's left of this season I'm hoping Boogie stays. Again, Penny's sub patterns are curious given all those factors.

There are some issues without a doubt...
But many of those are easily fixed...
If you cannot manage your roster and lose valuable pieces that is something that is a huge issue that is not easily remedied.

RE: Quinones and Boogie
I have seen quite a bit of speculation regarding transfers after this season is complete. I have a hard time seeing Lester or Boogie as transfers - they would have to sit out a year unless there are circumstances that would allow either of them a waiver. Something like a seriously ill family member would probably need to arise.
I would not be surprised if TH decided to transfer, based simply on my observation of his minutes played. It appears to me he wants to be THE STUD on the floor, and that is not going to happen here. He is getting killed by the bigger guard in this league.
PA is going to the draft. DJ should be back, and the center piece of next years squad. After next year, he is likely NBA bound, IMHO. MD is not going anywhere, nor is Lance. So, Damian Baugh is a question mark. But he would have to sit out, too. There can be surprises, I know. But this is how I see it at the moment.

I really think it’s all speculation. No one knows what these kids are thinking right now. They are not going to be openly saying they are gonna transfer and risk playing time the rest of the season.
