Andy had a controversial player who caused a lot of tension on the squad and in the media which made his job harder. The player was not as bad for Ole Miss as Odell beckon,Jr is causing for LSU right now, but for them it was a lot at the time.

I'm not sold on AK being the best option for us but he would definitely be an improvement.

Average attendance has fallen below 3,000. A large majority of the UAB fan base has written off our storied men's basketball program. That's really all the reason UAB needs to make a change.

Avg. attendance last 10 seasons:

2010-11 5167 Reg Season Champs, NCAA
2011-12 4564 Mike Davis fired/Haase hired
2012-13 4118
2013-14 4304
2014-15 3258 CUSA tourney champs, NCAA
2015-16 4946 Reg Season Champs, NIT Ehsan hired
2016-17 4134
2017-18 3729
2018-19 3037
2019-20 2734

And the reality is, that 2,734 figure is very inflated. We've only had a few home games where there were really more than 2K humans in the building.
