Would be a smart move in his part. Look how many times Baylor has had a shot at the CFP compared VA Tech. Way easier to recruit.

I thought he was dumb for leaving for VA tech. Not a decent football state and following coach beems. I think he would do well Baylor.

The rumor was she hated living in a large urban city and loved living in the middle of no where. I have been to Blacksburg and Waco and both qualify for the middle of nowhere. I guess Blacksburg has better scenery. But Waco had the Branch Davidian's and the inventor of DR Pepper.

I was in Waco this summer, and I was surprised to see it a lot more run down than Chip and Joanna make it out to be. My wife was disappointed to say the least.

People always talk about some place they have either never been to or have been to once ten years ago as being a crappy place.

Yet, the same people get poopie on their shoe in their own yard.

Silly.

It's a place that pays a few million to coach a sport.

Sounds like a good place for a football coach.

People go there just to tour the campus library. A couple million a year to coach football at a well respected school with a beautiful campus. Its a good gig.

Guarantee me 5 million a year for 5 years I could live in a trailer park in Waco.

It's not so bad. Easy drive to Dallas and to Austin. Great campus. The city is not great, but it has a lot going for it.

Va Tech has a nice campus. I've been there a lot. Never been to Waco. Who cares though? Coaches are going to go to places they get paid at. Strike while the iron is hot.
