In an effort to be magnanimous and, as a salute to Dan Burgardt, to forgive and forget, I deleted all my 'Blocks' including yours. I wanted a fresh start.

Don't make me regret that by behaving like a horse's azz right out of the gate.

RE: 2019-2020 Predictions
I think this team will struggle in the non-conference portion of the schedule for 2 reasons, they aren't going to beat any of the P5's on the schedule and they will struggle with many of the other teams trying to get new players, including Johnson and Whitens returning from injury, into a regular rotation.

I think this will be a solid club come conference play though. I think they will be at least .500 in conference and be in the hunt to win the MAC West.

RE: 2019-2020 Predictions
20 wins. Totally different dynamic this year. Speed, height, and returning soph class with major minutes. Emilien has the most upside of any WMU recruit in years. B Artis is the fastest player on the team and at 5'9 can get above the rim. When was the last time WMU had a mobile 6'8 250# center? MAC is a much different league this year.

RE: 2019-2020 Predictions
Having not seen the new guys, I'll go out on a limb and say 18 - 20 wins.

This appears to be a deeper team than we've seen in a while. I have no idea about the rest of the MAC.

First or second in MAC West
21+ wins on season.

Anyone care to revise their predictions for the year?
I am sticking with mine

RE: 2019-2020 Predictions
Sticking with .500 in the MAC and around 16 or 17 overall wins. As great as it is to be 2-0-- and road wins are always great-- these were teams picked 7th and 8th in middling mid-major leagues. Not convinced yet that we'll break out for 20+.

We'll probably be 3-0 after our next game

We have a soft schedule, I could see us having 8 OOC wins before MAC play. Hawk was smart with doing a soft schedule

I don't see any higher then 3rd in the West.

Should do decent out-of-conference, but only gets harder from here.

RE: 2019-2020 Predictions
Miss Valley St. has had 100+ points put on them in their first 3 games and it appears they only play OOC road games??? No home games until January for them.

They got beat by 100 by Utah

Chip fans will be calling it a “quality” win.

I think the MS Valley State HC is former Piston Lindsay Hunter.

Not unusual for the teams in the SWAC and MEAC to play those types of OOC schedules. It's gotta be brutal. Only way for those programs to fund themselves it seems.

Coach Hunter was only hired last April. Team has EIGHT Freshmen & SIX JC & or transfer players.

Ole Miss, Okla St, Oakland, Milwaukee, Yale, MSU equals soft schedule? How many MAC teams have that strength of schedule?
