I will say... we got SCREWED with our first MACTION night yesterday... .up against MSU/Kentucky and Duke/Kansas BBall...

We get an extra day of prep for Ohio... but we have to travel... lets see how this goes tonight.

Miami needs to figure out its defense... its early.

Ohio looks like BSU running against our WMU defense... eek.

FUMBLE OHIO! I the endzone... wow. Miami gets a stop on a solid Ohio drive.

1. It's probably warmer down there, since it's near W Virginia
2. It's on Wed, not Tues. That gives a bit more.
3. Ohio always has one of the best crowds in the MAC. Different football culture.

Here's another thing... There is nothing going on tonight... last night we went up against MSU/Kentucky and Duke/Kansas first game of the season mens basketball... we also don't have the best fans in town... thats a truth that is just plain driving me nuts.

nooo cmon man, don't blame this on NCAA basketball games, this game looks like it's sold out, what are they doing that we aren't??? The atmosphere there looks awesome, somebody at WMU needs to be held accountable

A few valid reasons mentioned already. It’s close to 50 degrees in Athens right now. And maybe a Wednesday evening game is just enough “over the workweek hump” to attract a marginally better crowd.

And obviously it’s a rivalry game. Although if CMU was our opponent last night, I don’t think it would’ve filled things up as much as I’m seeing in this OU game.
