Why are we scrimmaging against such a strong team? We should be playing Thomas More, college basketball's version of goetta. This team needs to build confidence.

Dayton is expected to be pretty good this year, and Obi Toppin is going to be one of the most athletic players UC sees this year. He'll likely be drafted next year. I think it's a great choice.

Love Obi, but I will bet you hot fudge sunday he won't be drafted. He is not as tall as UD lists him. More importantly, although he is only a sophomore, he will turn 22 before the season ends.

P.s. UD might have as much talent as UC.

The self loathe is starting early this year.

Haven't even played the secret scrimmage yet and everyone else is already better than we are.

Really? I just don't have an irrational hatred of UD like you. I think UC is the better team, I just think saying that playing UD is beneath them is idiotic. UD is a quality program and has been for pretty much all of their history except the short window that they were in the Great Midwest with UC. I don't get the constant attacks on them... Especially since they've had much more success in the NCAA's over the past 10 years.

I would like to extend my deepest apology to Dayton, who is a noble opponent worthy of my utmost respect.

Furthermore, I would like to apologize to any who were offended by my... irrational hatred... and... constant attacks... upon the fine University of Dayton.

This is certainly not characteristic of my college fandom as I have nothing but admiration for them as well as the A10 and I even hope that we play, uhhhh, Fordham in next year's secret scrimmage.

I can't believe I made a dig at goetta. I ate it nearly every morning growing up (seriuosly), visit Tucker's on every trip to Cincy, and make a huge vat of it at home at least annually. I'm ashamed at myself for that. Nice pun, by the way.
